Tool for Simultaneous Editing of Multiple Subtitle Files
Chmelo, Lukáš ; Vlnas, Michal (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
Cieľom tejto práce je vytvoriť multiplatformový nástroj určený na súčasnú úpravu súborov titulkov vo viacerých verziách videa. Aplikácia umožňuje súčasnú tvorbu a úpravu titulkov pre rôzne variácie jedného videa, ktoré obsahuje rôzne strihy a vložené scény, čím rieši významnú výzvu pri úprave titulkov. Medzi kľúčové funkcie aplikácie patrí kontrola pravopisu a funkcie úpravy časovania reči. Ďalším dôležitým zameraním tohto projektu je užívateľská prívetivosť a kompatibilita medzi platformami, čo zaisťuje jednoduché používanie naprieč bežnými operačnými systémami.
Comparison of vowel formants with string and wind instrument formants
Steiner, Dominik ; Musil, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jirásek, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the analysis and subsequent comparison of the formant regions of sung vowels of different singing voices with the formants of string and musical instruments based on FFT and LPC analysis. The results of the work are primarily intended for musicians and arrangers for compositional and musical artistic purposes. However, it will also help linguists regarding the analysis of formants and resonant cavities for phonetic and phonological research.
Modelled pressure pulsations in a fluid with the influence of a second viscosity
Dzjamko, Vladislav ; Pochylý, František (referee) ; Habán, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to determine the value of the speed of sound and the second dynamic viscosity of the fluid using numerical optimization of analytical model. Theoretically, the speed of sound and the second viscosity can be determined from three measured pressure waveforms in time along the length of the tube, while the speed of sound is traced to determine the correctness of the result. The thesis is divided into seven successive chapters. The first two define all the necessary concepts and the 1D analytical model used. The following chapters deal with the design of the experiment, data evaluation and numerical optimization of the search parameters in the frequency domain. The range of measured frequencies was from 1 kHz to 20,59 kHz. Einstein´s notation is used this this thesis. All graphs associated with the analytical model and the evaluation of the results are created in Matlab. The optimization functions fminsearch and lsqnonlin are used to evaluate the speed of sound and the second viscosity, however the fminsearch function overestimates the magnitude of the second viscosity. The thesis includes the calculation of the problem using Ansys and the subsequent comparison of all results.
Automatic detection of ischemia in ECG
Noremberczyk, Adam ; Potočňák, Tomáš (referee) ; Ronzhina, Marina (advisor)
This thesis discusses the utilization of the artificial neural networks (ANN) for detection of coronary artery disease (CAD) in frequency area. The first part of this thesis is orientated towards the theoretical knowledge. Describes the issue of ECG pathological changes. ECQ are converted to frequency area. Described statistical methods and methods for automatic detection of CAD and MI. Explained the issue of the perceptron and ANN. The second deals with use of Neural Network Toolbox MATLAB®. This part focuses on counting and finding suitable parameters and making connection of band. At the end of the thesis UNS is used to detect ischemic parameters and the results are discussed. Average values for the best settings are 100% accuracy.
FFT implementation in FPGA and ASIC
Dvořák, Vojtěch ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Fujcik, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design the implementation of fast Fourier transform algorithm, which can be used in FPGA or ASIC circuits. Implementation will be done in Matlab and then this form of implementation will be used as a reference model for implementation of fast Fourier transform algorithm in VHDL. To verify the correctness ofdesign verification enviroment will be created and verification process wil be done. Program that will generate source code for various parameters of the module performing a fast Fourier transform will be created in the last part of this thesis.
Influence of physical load to electrical activity of muscles
Kadeřábek, Jan ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes influence of physical load on electrical activity of muscles. In each of bachelor’s thesis chapters are analyzed questions of measurement EMG signals and their elaboration, include statistic attestation of influence physical load on electrical activity of muscles. EMG signals were received from group of 10 students and in program acqKnowledge, were taken off parameters for statistic elaboration. In created program were due to time and frequency analysis calculated parameters of EMG records, which can also describe influence of physical load. Accomplishments of this project are the tables with measured data, their graphs, statistics attestation of influence physical load on electrical activity of muscles and program, which can do time and frequency analysis of measured records. On significance level 10% was verified hypothesis, that physical load influence electrical activity of muscles.
The Analysis of mutes on trombone and trumpet timbre
Košař, Vojtěch ; Mojdl, Edgar (referee) ; Jirásek, Ondřej (advisor)
This work deals with the sound mute issues, specifically how they affect the timbre of a trombone and a trumpet, their sound spectrum, levels of individual harmonic tones, the presence of formants and the directional characteristics of individual tones played in various dynamics. A part of this work is also focused on the theoretical description of a trombone and a trumpet, including their brief history, their classification, the parts they are consisting of and the timbre. The theoretical part is further dealing with the description of mathematic functions like FFT or LPC analysis, which have been implemented in the MATLAB environment when creating the graphic dependents for this theme.
Generation of OFDM signals using arbitrary waveform generator LW410
Jagoš, Ľubomír ; Vařacha, František (referee) ; Prokeš, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis describing basic concepts and parts of OFDM modulator, showing their implementation in Matlaba. It's also focusing on how to use USRP with Matlab and creating functional OFDM modulator. Main efford is forwarded to practical impelementation of OFDM using available hardware.
Signal analysis options on Arduino platform
Havlíček, Michal ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelors thesis is to analyse signal with Arduino platform by creation of program which is able to perform calculations of signal´s mean value, efficiency value, Fourier transform and subsequent export of these results into computes. Furthermore it examines testing of this program and evaluation of possible limitations with usage of Arduino platform.
Evaluation of pressure conditions in the quenching chamber of low-voltage device
Nevrzal, Filip ; Vávra, Daniel (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
In this master’s thesis there is firstly conducted research about pressure measurement. Next there is mathematical description of thermodynamic conditions in used testing chamber by using magnetohydrodynamic and Maxwell equations. Next chapter deals with testing chamber itself, more precisely with function, model and changes done to it. In practical part there are data measured by used sensors, which are also closer described in this chapter. In next chapter there is comparison of reaction times of used sensors and their frequency specters, obtaining using fast Fourier transformation. Second to last chapter introduces very measurement on the real device and in the last chapter these data are analyzed and more closely described.
