Ethics in business

This thesis presents a contribution to exploration of the business ethics area from the psychological point of view with focus on multidisciplinary character of the subject. The empirical part brings mapping study describing the implementation of the business ethics management system and its impacts on the employees' approaches using example of the specific company. The thesis tries to capture which company functions and operations are covered by the code of ethics, what steps and process were taken when implementing the code, if the implementation of the code influenced employees' approaches and relation to the employer and if the implementation of the code influenced the ways how employees solved their moral dilemmas. The qualitative research part of the thesis uses semi-structured interviews, company documents analysis and observation.
Unfair commercial practices

The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The subject of the theoretical part is a definition of unfair commercial practices with its related topics. The first chapter concerns the relationship of consumer protection and unfair commercial practices. The second chapter is a theoretical interpretation of the issue of unfair commercial practices. The aim of the practical part is through a survey find out how a consumer sees the issue of unfair commercial practices, how its perception differs from the definition in the law and whether he feels in this area sufficiently protected. The investigation also has the purpose of determining whether consumers know their rights in this area and whether they know who to contact in case of doubt.
Code of ethics - a basic tool of ethical management

Code of Ethics - Basic Tool of Ethical Management Abstract The presented master's thesis is dedicated to the code of ethics which represents the most important tool of ethical management. The code of ethics is beyond legislation an important company self-regulation act which determines above all ethical values and principles and anchors ethical standards of the corporate culture. One of the fundamental aspects of a successful and sustainable business is also the company goodwill consisting of how the company treats all stakeholder constituencies - primarily employees, suppliers and customers, and of the corporate social responsibility level, while these topics are forming the essential part of the codes of ethics. The master's thesis is structured into five chapters. In the first part, the basic terms as ethics or morality, key values of business ethics and also mutual interaction and differences of the two normative systems - law and morality, are presented. In the next chapter the author describes business ethics as a scientific discipline and focuses on its levels. The relationship between ethics and economy is defined as well. Business Ethics in Pharmaceutical Companies

The diploma thesis is divided in two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part gives a general overview of the basic terms related to the ethics and the business ethics. It also describes business ethics and ethical tools and methods constituting ethics programme of the company. In the practical part it analyzes ethics programme of the farmaceutical companies in the Czech Republic, their using of the ethical tools and methods including their implementation into the daily practice. It uses questionnaires to obtain the data. Created questionnaire is focused on the subjective perception of ethics, the knowledge of the business ethics and the detailed ethics programme in the company. This survey serves as pilot study and it can be used for other researches. The results indicate insufficient complexity of ethics programme of pharmaceutical companies and deficiences especially in the ethical organizational structure to support ethics, in the monitoring and reporting and in the stakeholder analysis. The theme of this bachelor thesis is Ethics in Business and it discusses the importance of compliance with the ethics principles. The aim of this thesis is to observe the use of ethics principles of one of the biggest insurance companies in the Czech Republic - Česká Pojišťovna a.s.The main source was a questionnaire distributed to the employees of the insurance company. I was looking to find out what is the awareness of the ethical code, if employees abide to it, if they encountered any transgressions and what is the penalty for doing so.

This master's thesis deals with Codes od Ethics and their role in relations among entrepreneurs. The aim is to provide a more comprehensive overview of business ethics and its application and use of code of ethics in practice. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of key terms, provides insight into the history of ethics and highlights the linkage between ethical and legal regulation. The thesis further describes the tools and methods of business ethics, another chapter is then devoted to ethical codes. The practical part of the thesis analyses code of ethics in a particular selected company.
A relationship of seller and customer

The reason, why I had chosen for my diploma work topic The Relationship between seller and customer, is this time, when powerful competition press upon the firms to improve quality of their products or services, the top management is aiming at the quality of communication with customers, too. They are aware of that good or bad relationship with customer may determine if the firm will be successful or not. For it is necessary to train and motivate employee who communicate with customer, but first-rate direction by management too and to created positive firm cultural which will motivate the employees to longtime and high-quality work and affect at customers, too. In my diploma work I had aimed at factors which motivate customers but employees and management too. The employees and top management, they are links of firm which have influence to work and results of enterprise. In the first part of my work I had aimed at these factors general. I had analysed them and my result is that this factors really influence the relationship between seller and customer. In the second part of my work I had analysed these factors in elected enterprises. For synthesis and comparison of results of firms I had chosen the form of many-criterion rate.
