EDEN destinations and their importance for tourism in the Czech Republic

This Bachelor´s Thesis analyses EDEN destinations and their importance for tourism in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first part is a theoretical one defining important terms related to the thesis, such as tourism, destination, sustainable development and sustainable tourism. This part also indicates the current situation of tourism in the Czech Republic. The second chapter focuses on the policy of European Union in the field of tourism. The third part presents the project called European Destinations of Excellence in general. The fourth chapter analyses EDEN destinations in the Czech Republic, primarily benefits for these destinations and the impact of this award on changes in number of tourists. Final chapter assesses the EDEN project and the importance of awarded destinations within tourism of the Czech Republic. In the end, there are several suggestions for possible changes, so that an awareness about the EDEN project could increase, which could result in the arrival of new tourists to these destinations.
The British Conservative Party in the 1950s: Continuity or Change?

In this bachelor thesis the author will focus on the analysis of the activity of British Conservative Party in the 1950s. In particular he will study a reaction of Conservatives on the failure in the general election in 1945, the Party's reforms and revival and victorious elections in 1951. Further author will focus on the analysis of functioning of the Conservatives as a Party-in-Government, i.e. on the analysis of the realization of the election programme of the Tories, on their approach to the Welfare State made by the Labour Party and to Labour Party itself, on the analysis of the government's activities in home and foreign affairs, and last but not least on the analysis of the causes and consequences of achievements in elections in the 1950s.

Bachelor thesis "Special relationship? Dilemma of British-American Relations in the First Phase of the Cold War (1945-1956)" discources the transformation of anglo- american relations, or special relationship, in the concrete time periode. The thesis is focused on significant historical points which led to this change from the World War II up to Suez Crisis. The main goal of the thesis is to show on examples how and why was transformation of the relations between Great Britain and the USA possible, and to point out the extent of their mutual connectivity.
