ESP/ESC Impact to Behavior of Vehicle
Weigel, Filip ; Mrázek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on active safety - ESP. System ESP greatly improves stability of vehicle while turning. The thesis analyses modelling, brake functionality, subordinate systems of ESP - ABS and ASR, physical forces and phenomenons, model example, analysis of problem, design of model, implementation of model and experiments evaluation of implemented model in UPPAAL enviroment. The goal of the thesis is to prove that ESP system helps to stabilize vehicle while turning by simulation of vehicle model. Results are presented in well-aranged graphs side-by-side. It is possible to analyze the behaviour of vehicle while turning with ESP or without ESP.
Conception of ATV (all-terrain vehicles)
Dosedla, Milan ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is review article of the current design and construction setup of ATVs. In the individual chapters are analyzed function of structural units and their advantages and disadvantages for the application. Much attention is paid to the design and construction of the brakes and axles. Work based on the analysis 30 models of ATVs from different manufacturers. This thesis reports the specifications of selected models. In conclusion we discuss the appropriateness of design solutions for different types of ATVs such as utility or sport models.
Brake system of small airplane with tail gear
Kubičár, Dávid ; Cäsar, Tomáš (referee) ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to design a braking system for ultralight aircraft. The introductory part of this work is focused on a research study of brake systems and their possible control, in terms of advantages and disadvantages for a given type of aircraft, as well as in terms of ergonomically appropriate arrangement of controls pedals. The theoretical part also includes the analysis of the load pressure during the landing of the aircraft and the distribution of hydraulic fluids used in the brake system. In the second, practical part, the work focuses on a new design of the brake pedal, as well as on the calculation of the aircraft load during landing and the determination of the maximum braking force at which there is no risk of the aircraft tipping over.
Proposal of the brake system of an agricultural machine
Voltr, Martin ; Binar, Luboš (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals in with the issue of transport of semi-mounted agricultural machinery for tillage on roads and legislative requirements for this transport. The work describes the types of brakes and the arrangement of brake systems used on agricultural machinery. The work also includes the design of the brake system, including the choice of braked axle for the specified parameters of the machine. The design also includes an FMEA analysis of the brake system assembly. Next part of the work is about design of the welded axle and about strength analysis using the finite element method for given loads. Based on the results of the strength analysis, structural modifications of the weldment design are made. The last part is the creation of drawing documentation of selected machine parts.
