The Repechy Guest-House
Kavková, Veronika ; Novák,, Petr (referee) ; Vojtová, Lea (advisor) ; Matějka, Libor (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis deals with the renewal and extension of a farmhouse in Repechy in the Drahany Highlands. The aim of this work is to find a suitable architectural and urban design that would meet the requirements for new functional use of the original building. This is a guest house in the countryside, in addition it provides a long-term accommodation and additional features, sports and recreational nature. Given the extensive damage to the existing four-winged object, only the northeastern wing was retained, which dominates the entire complex. The main design criterion was to reduce the overall scale of the new extension. Therefore, the objects were broken down into smaller two-storey mass insight as to the capacity of the size of the entire complex would not fit in the rural environment full of small rural buildings. The newly designed guest house consists of renewed north-eastern wing and five other relatives shaped buildings with gabled roofs, which are interconnected with each other by necks with flat roofs. A semi-enclosed public space, which invite the public to visit the house and planting the rest area used for recreation accommodated clients was created by arrangements of individual objects to the letter "s". Accommodation of the complex complements the restaurant with an adjoining courtyard, building for stabling, sauna, outdoor swimming pools and a playground with gazebo. The aim of the project is a clear differentiation existing building from new extensions using a nationwide wooden paneling and green facades.
Technology Creation Cycle Path GIS of Trails
Osolsobě, Kristina ; Bartoněk, Dalibor (referee) ; Ježek, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis was to create a geographic information systém (GIS) for the needs of cycling. The proposed route connects Vyškov and Blansko and allows you to get to know beauties of the Moravian Karst and the Drahanská vrchovina. The whole thesis was created in software ArcGIS for Desktop 10.4.1 from the company Esri. In addition to the actual processing of data from measurement and GIS creation, I have tried various database queries and analytical task over the data. The final GIS was published on the web and is accessible to the public. It allows you to display the characteristics of the route and points of interest without having to turn off individual layers.
The effect of temperature on the mechanical properties of greywacke
Brabec, Marek ; Horák, Vladislav (referee) ; Krmíček, Lukáš (advisor)
The author of this master's thesis studied the influence of high temperatures on Lower Carboniferous greywacke sampled in the Kobeřice quarry near Prostějov. Two sets of cylindrical bodies were produced, made of fine and relatively coarse-grained greywacke. The samples were then fired at temperatures up to 1200 °C. Thermally altered samples were then studied in laboratory using rock mechanics and petrography methods. Results of the study were then carefully interpreted to determine relations between the rock parameters, structural changes and the firing temperature. The master's thesis also contains a brief insight into rock thermomechanics, necessary theoretical background to the used methods and geological context of the Drahany Upland, where the samples of the tested greywacke were taken.
Guesthouse Repechy - renewal and extension of farmhouse
Mokrý, Stanislav ; Janok, Jakub (referee) ; Sátora, Josef (advisor) ; Matějka, Libor (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the reconstruction of a neglected farm in a small village Repechy at Drahany Highlands. The original layout was traditional square with an inner courtyard. Later the building was completely rebuilt inappropriately (demolition of interior walls, roofing over the courtyard) and used for breeding cattle. The investor intend to reconstruct and extend the building so it can be used as a guesthouse providing additional features – a restaurant, a gym and an indoor pool with whirlpool, which are accessible to accommodated and external visitors. Estimated capacity is approximately 50 beds and the same number of seats in the restaurant. Due to the poor state of the majority of structures, only a small part of the original building is preserved, namely the northeast wing which was originally used as a residential area. The original walls and beamed ceilings are complemented by a new reinforced concrete shear ring and a new ceiling slab (for comparison height levels of floors in the 2nd floor and probably insufficient bearing capacity of the original ceiling). New parts of the building are built using the NOVATOP construction system of prefabricated panels made of solid wood. Under this system are resolved both outer and interior walls, ceilings and roof. Roof covering is made of fibre-cement roof tiles. Insulation is made mostly of wood-fibre boards by STEICO. The design of exterior of the building is using two colors - pure white plaster uniting old and new parts and platinum gray highlighting selected elements (cornices, window and door jambs).
Guesthouse Repechy - renewal and extension of farmhouse
Láníková, Petra ; Janok, Jakub (referee) ; Sátora, Josef (advisor) ; Matějka, Libor (advisor)
Bachelor thesis solves the preparation of project documentation for the reconstruction of the house on the outskirts of the village Repechy on Drahanská Vrchovina. The pension is divided into three separate buildings, which together form a closed space for visitors to the house. This thesis deals with one of these buildings. There are the reception, restaurant and restaurant facilities and facilities for staff pension. The form of the building is based on classical forms farmhouse. The building has a partial basement and two floors.
Monitoring tvorby dřeva a lýka u smrku ztepilého (Picea abies (L.) Karst.) na výzkumné lokalitě Rájec-Němčice (Drahanská vrchovina)
Šenovská, Veronika
This bachelor thesis is focused on study to xylogenesis, what analyse a dynamic of growth of xylem and phloem development of Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karst). For this analysis was used methods od radial growth (cambial growth). Samples were taken by from six sample trees in Rajec-Němčice (Drahanská upland). This locality stands between 610 to 625 metres above sea level. Samples for this work were taken every week from 5.4. to 15.11. Permanent mounts were taken as a microbores, which were evaluated by microscope and by program called ImageJ. Cambial activity started at all trees similarly. It started on April. This month were recorded sufficiently high temperature to start a cambial activity. New cells were created in average 0,15 cells at a young trees and 0,11 cells at an old sample trees.
Letokruhové analýzy mladého vrchovinného smrku ztepilého
Hanáček, Pavel
This bachelor thesis is focused on an tree rings analysis of young upland spruce. It was found out by the method of image analysis and it also include treatise how are tree rings influenced by climate. The samples were collected as stem discs from diameter breast height and samples were come from three different localities which are situated in Drahanská upland. These localities stand between 400 and 625 metres above sea level. Software WinDENDRO was used to measure tree rings widths. Then PAST 32 was used for crossdating, as well as these programs was used another called ASTAN and for result processing was nice to use the EXCEL 2013. The widths of tree rings are significantly correlated with precipitation and temperature of previous year in Rovná. In Habrůvka the widths of tree rings are significantly correlated with precipitation and temperature of current year. In the last one area in Habrůvka is seen that the width of tree rings are significantly positive correlated with precipitation of previous and current year, on the other hand temperature is not connected with any significant correlation.
