Landová, Adéla ; Jančík, Jiří (advisor) ; Listíková, Renáta (referee)
1 Abstract The Buquoy aristocratic family is a branch of the Longueval family that has origins in current France. The Buquoys arrived in Lands of the Bohemian Crown during the thirty years' war when Charles Bonaventure was called in to fight Bohemian Protestants. Soon after, he received an estate in the Southern Bohemia from Ferdinand II where he and his descendants stayed nearly three and a half centuries. The Buquoys soon extended their opulent estates by Prague palaces and few regions in the North Bohemia. They contributed to advances in agriculture, glassblowing and in the area of social and scholar reforms. They were also engaged in politics and became important patrons of culture and arts. Nevertheless, the Buquoys suffered the same fate as other aristocratic families. In the beginning of the 19th century, they started losing their privileges and estates and, in 1945, they were expelled from Czechoslovakia based on Beneš decrees concerning retribution. The aim of this thesis is to point out the cultural legacy which Buquoys left behind in the current Czech Republic and to describe their overall contribution in particular areas. The thesis is divided into two chapters. The first chapter is dedicated to the general picture and to the history of aristocratic families in the Lands of the Bohemian Crown...
Artificial Intelligence for the Dominion Game
Babušík, Jan ; Pilát, Martin (advisor) ; Gemrot, Jakub (referee)
The subject of this thesis is an artificial intelligence for the Dominion card game, which is usable in a two-player game. Dominion is characterized by the fact that there is a large number of initial configurations. The artificial intelligence selects the best strategies from a set of prepared strategies so that the time it takes to generate a specialized strategy does not delay players from every game. This approach has been implemented with emphasis on game extendability. In the design of the artificial intelligence evolutionary algorithms were used. The work also includes an implementation of the game itself in the C# language and a simple graphical interface for playing the game. 1

The Zvíkov Dominion up until the End of the Middle Ages
Procházková, Žaneta ; Čechura, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Oulíková, Petra (referee)
The bachleor thesis focuses on the castle Zvíkov and it's surrounding domain in the time of late Middle Age and early Renaissance. I would like to focus on the period between the first contact of the Zvíkov domain and the Rožmberk family in 1307 to it's sale to the Švamberk family in 1473. The castle was built on the rock above the counfluence of the Otava and Vltava rivers in 13th century. Position on the top of the rock was advantagous against potential threat. The Castle architecture is connected with the regin of the kings Wenceslas I. and Otakar II. In the beginning of the 14th century was the castle under influence of Jindřich of Rožmberk. Later at the time of Charles IV. was Zvíkov selected as temporary storage of the Crown Jewels. The most important period in Zvíkov history is the time of Oldřich II. of Rožmberk. Oldřich was extremly interested in the castle and in the end used forged papers to own it. The castle was part of the Rožmberk domain till it's sale to Bohuslav of Švamberk in 1473. Together with the history of Zvíkov I would also like to focus on the cultural development, political and economical situation of the castle and the surrounding domain.
