Výroční zpráva ČNB se zabývá řízením a organizací ČNB a zprávou o jejím hospodaření. Popisuje ČNB v procesu přípravy ČR na začlenění do EU a její vztahy k mezinárodním finančním institucím. Zmiňuje se o měnové politice a měnovém vývoji, bankovním sektoru a bankovním dohledu. Poslední část je věnována peněžnímu oběhu, operacím ČNB na volném trhu, platebním stykům a rekonstrukci budov ústředí ČNB.

Hodnotí veřejné finance, měnový vývoj, finanční trhy a měnovou politiku. Obsahuje řadu příloh týkajících se měnové politiky a pohledu na bankovní sektor.

Money counterfeiting

This bachelor thesis is divided into 8 parts. After the Introduction, that explains basic terms, as for example counterfeiting, doctoring or imitation of money, the chapter about the history of the counterfeiting from the ancient time to the end of the Second World War follows. The third chapter is called "Legislative framework of money protection" and is concerned with public notices of the Czech national bank, the criminal code or the International Convention for the Suppression ofCcounterfeiting Currency. The chapter 4 is about protecting elements. Basic information about Czech coins and banknotes could be found in chapter 5. The next part is concerned with the actual situation in the Czech Republic and brings some cases of faking money and judgements of courts. A part about counterfeiting in the rest of the world follows. The epilogue closes the whole thesis.
Analysis of the development of competencies of the Czech National Bank since 1993 including an analysis of the consequences of the Czech Republic's entry into the eurozone at competencies of the Czech National Bank

That theme is very topical because of intense debate about the real possibilities of the Czech Republic's entry into the eurozone. The introduction of the euro in the CR could significantly affect the position of the Czech National Bank, particularly in terms of transfer of competences in the field of monetary policy to the European Central Bank. The theoretical part covers the general theory of central banking. The scope, functions, objectives and instruments of the central bank are characterized in this part. The analytical part is focused on the development of competencies of the CNB from 1993 to the present and on the comparison of main functions, goals and tools between the CNB and the ECB. The European System of Central Banks and the role of CNB in the system before the adoption of the euro are also defined in this part. The main accent is put on changes in the competences and activities of the CNB's monetary policy, regulation and supervision and monetary circulation after joining the eurozone. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the development of competencies of the CNB from the date of its establishment to the present and the consequences of the CR's entry into the eurozone at competencies of the CNB in relation to the ECB.
Counterfeiting of Money

The thesis is divided into six chapters. It focuses on the history of money and counterfeiting, describes different legislation dealing with counterfeiting. In detail, the thesis deals with the Czech legislation according to the current and prospective penal code. The fourth chapter is dedicated to the anti-counterfeiting features on current Czech bills and coins. The fifth chapter describes counterfeiters and counterfeits and the last chapter is dedicated to the interesting Czech adjudications in this field.
The role of the Czech national bank after the accession of Czech republic to the monetary union

The accession to the European Monetary Union is fundamentally changing the role of the Czech national bank. Aim of this work is to describe and evaluate this new role of the CNB in connection with the transfer of its former powers to the ECB. The theoretical part of the work deals with the role of central banking in general, the role of the CNB before the accession to the EMU and the role of ECB in monetary union. The work reviews compliance with the conditions required for the accession to the EMU. Further it focuses on the analysis of CNB monetary policy in recent years, particularly its interest rates policy. In view of the future situation in the field of monetary policy the work draws on the experience of Slovakia after its entry into the euro zone and respondes to the question of whether uniform monetary policy is equally applicable to all member states of the euro area by using the Theory of Optimum Currency Area. The work also analyzes the actions of the ECB and the CNB caused by the current economic crisis.
Development of the monetary political instruments of the Czech National Bank

This Bachelor thesis reports the characteristics of the monetary policy, its development, objectives, and above all, the financing instruments which are used by the Czech National Bank. It also scrutinizes the independence and the operations of central banks. It also analyses the development of the monetary policy and monetary political instruments since the split-up of Czechoslovakia till today. It is focused on a comparision of the main objectives which the CNB wanted to achieve, and on the real impacts of the measure exposed.
Development of Czech Republic's exchange rate policy since the beginning of the transformation

The bachelor thesis deals with exchange rate policy in the Czech Republic. Preliminary, there are described types of exchange rate regimes and methods of influencing exchange rate by central banks. The work is focused on the development of the Czech Republic's exchange rate policy since the beginning of the economic transformation. It starts with the Czech Republic's introduction of internal convertibility in January 1991. Further the dissolution of Czechoslovakia and the monetary separation is mentioned. In 1995, external convertibility is introduced and it is followed by currency crisis in 1997. Attention is paid to the central bank's attempts to solve crisis which lead to exchange rate regime change in the end. In the next part, further development of exchange rate is described. At the end our chance to join euro in future is analysed.
The Evolution of State Supervision in Insurance in the Czech republic

The thesis " The Evolution of State Supervision in Insurance in the Czech republic" is focusing on one sphere of the insurance market -- evolution, and the possible ways of regulation in the Czech market. It is deeply concerned with the reasons of regulation, the evolution periods, its legislative changes from the point of view of the last years and particular activities of the Czech National Bank in 2008. It looks on insurance as a current, dynamic and developing branch, which seems to be perspective in the future, and those perspectives are indicated in the end of the work.
The new form of financial market supervion in the Czech Republic and its perpectives

The bachelor thesis deals with the new form of the financial market supervision in the Czech Republic and its perspectives. In the first chapter I outlined the possible approaches to the supervision and gave examples of their use in the world. In the second chapter I described the form of the supervision model applied before April 2006. In the last chapter I closely described the way to the current model of supervision and the model itself including necessary legal changes. Part of this chapter deals with the possible future of supervision in the Czech Republic and the EU
