Doležal, P. ; Hausvater, E. ; Baštová, P. ; Kocourek, F. ; Stará, J. ; Sedlák, P. ; Sedláková, V. ; Skoková Habuštová, Oxana ; Nermuť, Jiří
The aim of the certified methodology is to provide updated principles of effective integrated Colorado potato beetle management for the agricultural practice resulting from new findings on biology and population genetics in the situation, when the range of effective insecticides has been reduced, pest resistance to insecticides has been increased and agro ecological conditions have been changed. Colorado potato beetle is a very serious insect pest of potatoes, highly mobile and able to quickly develop insecticide resistance. The methodology was drawn up based on the newest findings on the efficacy of existing insecticides registered against Colorado potato beetle, taking into account newly acquired knowledge in the field of pest resistance to active ingredients and a necessity of ever increasing multiple applications.
Ověření účinku biopreparátu na bázi entomopatogenní houby Isaria fumosorosea na mandelinku bramborovou (Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say) v ekologickém a konvenčním zemědělství.
ŠAŠKOVÁ, Jana
The aim of the work was to verify the efficacy of the biopesticide based on entomopathogenic fungus Isaria fumosorosea (WIZE) Brown & Smith against Colorado potato beetle, Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say). A small-scale experiment with three varieties of potatoes was carried out on selected site. In addition to monitoring of the effect of the fungus application on the occurrence of the pest and plant damage, yield of cultivated varieties was evaluated at the end of the experiment. The results are presented in the form of graphs and enclosed tables.
Methodology for evaluation of pest resistance to zoocides by biological methods and antiresistance staregies
Kocourek, František ; Stará, Jitka ; Zichová, Tereza ; Hubert, Jan ; Nesvorná, Marta
The methodology contains description of biological methods for evaluation of pest resistance to zoocides arranged according to world standards. The methods are verified on case studies on pests with proved resistance to insecticides or with high risk of selection of resistance in Czechia, as pollen beetle, Colorado potato beetle, cabbage seedpod weevil, cabbage stem flea beetle and codling moth. The methodology contains survey of basic principles of insect resistance management and proposals of antiresistant strategies for pest mentioned in the case studies. The methods for evaluation of resistance are utilized for resistance monitoring performed by state administration or other organisations. Recommendations given in antiresistant strategies are utilized for pest management in winter rape, potatoes and apples.
