An Analysis of Children's Drawing as an Additional Tool for Assessing

This thesis deals with the options found in children's drawings symptoms that might help in uncovering school failure. The thesis consists of a theoretical and research part. The theoretical part is based on knowledge of the literature and the praxis. The first chapter describes the causes and symptoms of school failure. The second chapter deals with drawings and by drawing tests. There is described the methods and techniques used in my research in the third chapter. The research section contains the survey whose main objective was to confirm certain features of the drawing containing the failed student. The results of the survey were achieved through drawings, "Questionnaire of self - conception pupils' school success" by Z. Matějček and M. Vágnerová, analysis of average marks and interviews with teachers. The aim is to characterize the symptoms of failed student in the drawing.
Stimulation of Graphomotoric Development of Pre-School Children

The thesis is focused on the description, monitoring and stimulation graphomotorics development of preschool children. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the development of the individual in preschoolers, hygiene and work habits which are important for graphomotorical development. It also discusses the development of graphomotorics and drawings. It also includes a description of graphomotor difficulties and subsequently programs that help stimulate graphomotorics development. The practical part consists of a qualitative research whose objective is to monitor a description of the effect graphomotoric stimulation in children attending a particular graphomotorical course. There is monitored the status and then move of seven children in selected areas before the course and after the course in the form of published case studies.

Drawing expression of autistic child

The presented thesis deals with drawing of children with autism. It is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the empirical. In the theoretical parts there are four chapters. Three chapters deal with problem of autism spectrum disorders, types of autism, options of diagnostics, frequency and possible causes of autism. The fourth chapter deals with basic information about children's drawing, unique manifestation of the autistic disablement in the children's drawing. In the empirical part there are analysed 12 autistic children's drawings. Results are gained on the basis of observation drawing and evaluation by predetermined criterias. The goal of the bachelor thesis is to find out how the typical characteristics of autism displays itself in the pictures.
Younger school age children's drawings (children's drawings from common elementary classes and classes for gifted children)

The bachelor thesis is focused on younger age school children´s drawings. Drawings made by children in common elementary classes and classes for talented children are compared. The work is divided into two sections: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part includes three main chapters. The first deals with the development stage of younger age school children. It mentions personal development and self-perception. It also focuses on the cognitive, emotional, and social development in this period. In the second chapter, a particular child's drawing is described with emphasis on ontogeny. The last chapter is focused on talent and characteristic of gifted children In the practical part the children were asked to draw a self-portrait and a portrait of their dream house. It pursues a goal to find and describe the differences in children's artistic expressions. For this purpose, 28 drawings made by children from common classes of elementary school and a same number of drawings by gifted children aged 9 - 11 years are analyzed. Results are obtained on the basis of drawing observation and in advanced specified criteria.
Applying of art therapy elements and artfiletic techniques in art education on the special primary school

The work deals with the characterization of the education of children with mental retardation in the Czech Republic. Defines mental retardation, presents its individual rate and further characterizes individuals with moderate mental retardation. Describes a special art education and art education and gives a brief characterization. The work defines the concepts of art therapy and aftefiletics, describes their methods, techniques and aims. The main topic is to create a special art lessons in order to compensate for the degree of mental disability in the target group of children. The work presents topics, their names, objectives, organization, forms of work, equipment needed, assignment and describes the course. All subjects were applied in practice and are listed in the individual case reports.
Young Children's Drawing of Family

The master's dissertation work is focused on the psychological diagnostics method - the test of an enchanted family drawing of the young children. The theoretical part of the diploma work generally describes the age of young children, children's family background, the ways of family functioning, development drawing of the young children and the method - the test of an enchanted family drawing. The practical part analyses the collection of 57 children's drawings to describe the most frequent symbols of the enchanted family drawing.
