The bachelor thesis ,,Franz Ferdinand d'Este on Konopiště. Distribution of his power, wealth, magnificence, family and heart" is focusing first on brief history of chateau Konopiště, then the chateau itself and then on life of one of very significant figures of world's history, who has come into historical awareness not only with his political importance, but also with his fate. Significant part of heir to the throne Franz Ferdinand d'Este and his family's life is connected with chateau Konopiště. This work is mainly about Franz Ferdinand d'Este's life, life of his family and reconstruction of chateau Konopiště, it's hunting grounds, parks, gardens, concentration of a large number of art items and changing entire manor into a representative residence. Unification of the residence is in the spirit of academical romanticism, passion for hunting, personal decision-making and influence of Franz Ferdinand d'Este. He transformed chateau Konopiště first as a member of Habsburg dynasty and then as an heir of the throne.
