The main purpose of the diploma thesis is the ceiling painting of Juda Tadeaus Supper in the cemetery church of the Finding the Holy Cross on the Cross's Hill in Moravská Třebová. The main part of the diploma work is about theologically well considered iconografical conception of the paintings. In the same line, the diploma work will talk about each topic accompanying by Latin inscriptions of Bible, liturgical texts and extracts of the Church Fathers, and also there will be older non-precise or faulse opinions related to the iconography of the painting. Furhter, the diploma work will be talking deeper about the link between the liturgical fiction and painting iconography showing the Legend of the Holy Cross and the themes concerning the last human things and the saving objects for the souls in the purgatory together with Eucharist and Five wounds of Christ supported by post-trident theology. The aim of the diploma work is to show the interesting iconography programme of the regional artistic work, whose thorough realisation is to be compared with the nowdays most interesting realisations of the mural paintings occupy takes up of the unique place.

Marie-Anna Kociánová Title: Small sacral monuments in the eastern part of the Kutná Hora region. The area between the rivers Kejnárka and Doubrava This bachelor thesis briefly characterises each type of wayside shrines and mainly focuses on their occurrence in east part of Kutná Hora district between Klejnárka and Doubrava rivers. The aim of the thesis is to determine at least approximately when each wayside shrine was built and in which city is the oldest one located, eventually also trace back which type of wayside shrines were built generally earlier and on the other hand generally later in this district. Another aim of the thesis is to compare characteristic types of shrines and their similarities in close-by villages as well as in the whole district. The similarities are for example a specific usage of materials and methods in a certain time period, or the same local builder being involved. The sub-aims are firstly to determine if there is any type of wayside shrine missing in one of the villages and its vicinity and secondly to determine if all of the wayside shrines are recorded in both present and historical cartographical sources. The thesis deals with small sacral monuments in the Novohradsko region. It consists of three parts. The first part defines small sacral monuments and their general description. The second part defines the area of exploration, its description and a list of specific sacral monuments located in the given territory. The third part focuses on preselected sacral monuments - description of the monument and its location, possible relationship of people to the monument.

The thesis deals with the subject of Christ s journey with the cross. Separate interruptions remind us of the last moment of Jesus suffering on earth. The work begins with the sentencing of Jesus to death and ends with his placing in the tomb. Everything is executed with the technique of slumping glass on plaster forms. The cycle contains fourteen glass reliefs including inscriptions of separate crosses. A possible fixture falls into the interior of a modern church or larger chapel, as well as into the exterior in the likeness of village chapels set up along the so-called The Hill of the Cross. The work is supplemented by a theoretical attachment with thematic description, inspirational sources and technological procedures.

Work is devided into theory and practical part. Theoretical part with the title ``Sacral plastic Arts in Czech painting of 20th century{\crqq} is dealing with chosen particular appearances and forms of plastic arts in the surroundings of Bohemian churches and chapels. The artistic and social limits and possibilities are dealt here in the form of essay. The practical part is made up from six paintings of size 75 x 109 cm. The inspiration was taken with the apocalyptical part of Bible {--} ``St. John{\crq}s Appiration``.
