This diploma thesis deal with the building survey and evaluating the state of existing constructions. In theoretical part are described the types of civil engineering surveys and diagnostic methods for conducting a survey of reinforced concrete structures. The practical part deal with describes the structural and technical survey of the production hall in the industrial area Fatra Napajedla, evaluating the strength of concrete on the existing structure through donations cores and verification of compliance with the reinforcement according to project documentation. The last part is focused on a static assessment of selected supporting elements of the structure.

Possibilities of using GPR to detect reinforcement of concrete structures

The aim of this study is to outline how is GPR used to detect reinforcement in concrete structures. In each part the study deals with diagnostic testing methods used for building construction and shows a recognisability of steel reinforcement in concrete. Then it closely examines applications of GPR in a diagnostics of reinforced concrete structures with using Hilti PS 1000 device. In the practical part I conducted a building survey of wall silo using GPR and electromagnetic indicators. The aim was to identify the position of reinforcement which was subsequently compared with the project documentation. The construction survey was carried out as a reason of several serious defects such as cracks and tilting of major part of one of the silo walls.

Survey and Diagnostics of Reinforced Concrete Structure

The master´s thesis deals with concrete properties and it introduces problematics of building survey. In each part the study deals with diagnostic methods used for building construction. Then it closely examines selected methods, which are used for recognisability of steel reinforcement in concrete. In the practical part I conducted two engineering surveys of reinforced concrete industrial buildings. The main aims were to identify the position of reinforcement in selected elements of crane runway and to evaluate the quality of used concrete. The last part of thesis is focused on static assessment of short corbel of crane runway.

This diploma thesis is focused on building survey and evaluating of the state of the three-storey industrial hall. The diploma thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part is described a common procedure for evaluation of the state of existing structures, methods used in diagnostics (selected ones - more detailed), advantages and disadvantages of methods. In the practical part is carried out construction and technical survey of the industrial hall, the concrete strength evaluation and verification of presence and type of reinforcement. At the end of the work - evaluation of objects.

The topic of the first part of this bachelor thesis covers the methods of diagnostics of reinforced concrete constructions and their practical application. In the theoretical part are described the methods currently used with diagnostics of reinforced concrete constructions with focus on methods used in practical part. The practical part covers the survey of reinforced concrete constructions and its evaluation. The main objects of the practical part were the detection of the strength class of concrete and real reinforcement of certain elements.

This thesis deals with the construction survey and diagnostics of the New synagogue in Velké Meziříčí. The aim of the work is to perform an inspection, construction survey of the building and evaluation of its current condition using classical survey and diagnostic methods. The work is processed as the final report from the construction and technical survey of the building. It contains its course and results. The main part of the survey is brick masonry, its failures and structural assesment. The thesis includes also survey of foundation structures, the history and description of the building.

The diploma thesis deals with building survey of the New synagogue in Velké Meziříčí. It is focused on diagnostics of timber structures using non-destructive and semi-destructive testing methods, such as visual inspection, moisture content measurement, penetration depth of a steel pin measurement and endoscopy. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the condition of the timber structures according to the results of the building survey.

The bachelor thesis deals with properties of reinforced concrete and describes its basic investigated properties. In the each parts this study deals with the methods used for diagnostics of building structures. In greater detail deals with selected methods, which are used in the practical part of this work. The aim of the practical part was to find out reinforcement in selected ceiling elements of the existing building.
