The creation of construction drawing documentation of a terraced house in Mutěnice
Pittauerová, Petra ; Kratochvíl, Richard (referee) ; Kuruc, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis is to create construction drawing documentation for the main part of a terraced house in Mutěnice based on a BIM model and to create a thematic map in the vicinity of this family house. To create the required attachments, on-site measurements were conducted using geodetic surveying techniques, including GNSS technology, tachymetry, and laser scanning. The key focus of the thesis is to describe the on-site and office work that was essential for creating the necessary outputs. The main output of the thesis is the construction drawing documentation of the main part of the family house at scales of 1:50 (floor plans, sections) and 1:100 (elevations). The thematic map is made at a scale of 1:250 in the coordinate system S-JTSK and the altitude systém Bpv. Due to the owner's privacy protection, the created BIM model is not included in the thesis attachments and will be provided solely to the owner of the family house. The outputs of this thesis represent the actual state as of August 2022 and will serve as a basis for the planned reconstruction.
Use of BIM Model in the Design of the Renovation of Historic Buildings
Hrubovčáková, Andrea ; Mésároš, Peter ; Kozlovská, Mária ; Spišáková, Marcela
The article explores the practical application of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in renovating historical buildings, focusing on the digitalization process and the integration of fourth and fifth dimensions into the information model. It addresses challenges encountered when working with irregularly shaped buildings lacking preserved project documentation. Additionally, it examines the advantages and disadvantages of linking 3D elements with time and cost considerations. The authors present a methodology, a sequential approach tailored for BIM model utilization in historic building restoration, which was specifically validated through a case study of a historic church building in Rudník village. The methodology proposes a comprehensive framework applicable to the restoration of various historical buildings. The article contributes a generally applicable methodology for leveraging BIM models in historic building restoration, facilitating design and implementation processes across diverse historical contexts.
BIM model – Tomkovo náměstí in Brno
Frýdecký, Filip ; Gottvaldová, Jana (referee) ; Remeš, Josef (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is to show implementation of BIM in linear structures such as roads. In this case there was a normal 2D project, which I must convert to 3D model, using programme Civil 3D. For non-graphical information, standard from SFDI was used at its highest level of documentation that time (PDPS level). After finalizing all graphical and non-graphical information, part of the model was later converted in 5D model, adding cost and schedule. This thesis is supposed to show application of BIM in linear structures such as roads and point out problems from software side such as norms and methodology.
BIM - Road design
Chludilová, Kateřina ; Gottvaldová, Jana (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The subject of master's thesis is to show the application of the BIM model in linear constructions, specifically on the construction site D35 Opatovec – Staré Město. I started from traditional 2D documentation at the DSP level. I created a 3D model of individual construction objects from this documentation using the Autodesk Civil 3D software and subsequently assigned necessary non-graphic information to each element. The entire model is created according to the SFDI data standard. This work is intended to show not only the conversion from 2D documentation to 3D, but also to point out possible problems and challenges, whether from the designer's perspective or from a software standpoint.
