Audio files analysis application
Dřevojánek, Dalibor ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
This bacherol thesis focuses on RIFF format files, their structure, processing, usage and creating an application, which is able to show the structure of these files and their simple editing. Application is developed using the C# programming language and .NET framework. It can show the structure of a file in a tree view, plot a waveform sotred in an audio file, edit values in some chunks, extract a chunk of a RIFF file, save it to another file and add or remove a chunk from a RIFF file. Application also contains a console version which can be used in evironments without graphical interface. It is developed using integrated development environment Rider from the company JetBrains s.r.o and git repository stored in cloud service GitHub was used for source code storage and preservation.
Time-Gathering Video
Kárníková, Pavlína ; Sumec, Stanislav (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor essay describes problems of creating time-gathering video, image processing and the theory of photography. Purpose is created program, which can modify photos and after that create video. Program is implemented in the C and C++ language and uses the OpenCV library. Application can run in the operation system Windows.
Automatic Generating of Subtitles by Speech Recognizer
Csintalan, György ; Plchot, Oldřich (referee) ; Schwarz, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes developing an application for automatic generation of subtitles for films using BSAPI (Brno Speech Application Interface). At first the reader is guided to the problematics of this task and the aim of this work is described. In the next section the speech recognition API (BSAPI) is described from a theoretical point of wiev. After this, the next section is about extracting voice channel from video. The next chapter describes the implementation of the application. Further, experiments in different situations are described and possible improvements are discussed in order to achieve better outputs, for example speech enhancement by Wiener filter. In the conclusion are discussed achieved results and experiments.
Library for Efficient Video Capture in 3D Application
Pospíšil, Petr ; Navrátil, Jan (referee) ; Havel, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with library for recording video in the background of 3D application. A library is designed to work under the Microsoft Windows and Linux operation systems.  It records image and also sound. Image recording is supported in OpenGL, Direct3D9, Direct3D10 and Direct3D11. To reduce video data size, library supports image compression using MJPG codec. Audio is recorded by WaveForm audio, Windows Core Audio or ALSA. Recorded sound is for whole operation system. A library is able to record up to two audio streams to accommodate possible microphone input. It can mix audio data together if needed. Output data are then written into AVI file. It is possible to write own text information as overlay that is rendered as part of application screen output.
