Spacewalk Plug-in for the APT Packaging Tool
Lukašík, Šimon ; Hrubý, Martin (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
Spacewalk is an open source management solution for Linux systems. It works well with Fedora and Red Hat Enterprise Linux, where one can install and upgrade packages using yum and yum-rhn-plugin tools which download packages from Spacewalk. Unfortunatelly, for Debian, there is no such tool. This work reassumes Master Thesis of Lukáš Ďurfina, who added initial support for Debian in Spacewalk Server. The main goal is to write a plug-in for apt-get, which allows downloading the packages for a Debian system from Spacewalk.
Receiving and decoding of meteorological signals
Tuchyňa, Juraj ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
The main purpouse of this project is theoretical analyze of data receiving from NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) meteo-satallites. The project is focused on data processing and decoding them. Received data will be processed and represented. We will use software defined radio (SDR) to help us to understand basic principles of signal processing. We will design conception of receiver in block diagram. Building of functional receiver will be the major part of bachelor thesis.
Numeric simulation of the turbine rotor surfacing
Durajová, Věra ; Slováček, Marek (referee) ; Daněk, Ladislav (advisor)
The project elaborated in frame of engineering studies, solves the problem of restoration of the damaged hinge groove blades, and the surfacing of cylindrical faces of the SAW method, using additional material TOPCORE 838 B. The turbine rotor is made from steel with high resistance temperature 30CrMoNiV5-11. Based on literature studies and issues surfacing calculation, it was established that will preheat the material. The issue was solved by using simulation program SYSWELD.

Vliv informační kaskády na sektorové indexy
Večeřa, Rudolf
Diploma thesis refers about effect of informational cascade, which is causing herding behaviour, in sector indices. Thesis distinguishes between market and sector informational cascade. Each of them is represented as an indicator made from dataset provided by Google trends service. Effect is demonstrated on extended version of CAPM theoretical concept to multi factorial model including the indicators, which is based on APT theoretical concept. For the purpose of robust analyses is then realized Granger causality on regression results.

History of mathematical modelling on financial markets
Cigán, Martin ; Brada, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Langer, Miroslav (referee)
The main goal of this thesis is to introduce the reader to the evolution of some of the well-known mathematical models used in the valuation of investment instruments. The first chapter deals with some of the basic terms used in the following text. The next chapters introduce mathematical models, which are used to valuate stocks, bonds and derivatives. Each chapter contains also a brief description of the instrument itself and in some cases the methods used to evaluate the instruments before the introduction of models. The thesis contains a chapter on concept of portfolio due to its importance in the development of mathematical modelling in this field.
Arbitrage Pricing Theory
Mengler, Jan ; Hebák, Petr (advisor) ; Peřina, Milan (referee)
Determination of the stock expected return is an important element of asset management. This paper presents an Arbitrage Pricing Theory model, which strives to estimate the expected return explaining the historical volatility of the stock prices. This paper presents the model as it was introduced, necessary extension for application to a small market included. Statistical methods on which the model has been build are discussed -- factor analysis completed by principal component analysis. In the practical part, the model is applied to the Czech market with an assessment of the success of the application. The forces which were expected to represent risk factors for the market have been examined as well. It will be shown that the model may contribute to the understanding of risk behaviour of the stocks.
Java annotations
Šírová, Helena ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (referee)
Práce popisuje tvorbu, použití a význam anotací v programovacím jazyce Java.
