Application Control Using Gestures
Lengál, Tomáš ; Zahrádka, Jiří (referee) ; Najman, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with application control using sensor Microsoft Kinect. The main goal is to explore the possibility and the suitability of the sensor for gesture recognition and their using in control application. The work focuses on three main tasks. Namely, menu control, rotation control and trimming control.
User Interface for Work with Computer in Virtual Reality
Pazdera, Michal ; Najman, Pavel (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This thesis explores various ways of controlling computer in virtual reality. The aim of this thesis is to create a user interface which would allow the user to control computer in virtual reality. First it explores the possibilities of detecting users actions using sensors and its usability for controls and various interaction techniques in virtual reality. Based on the information gathered about the described topics it focuses on various ways of interactions using hands as controllers. This thesis tackles the issue of selecting and manipulating virtual objects. It introduces the design of three interaction techniques, which are then tested and evaluated.
3D Interface for Web Pages
Klepárník, Petr ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Szentandrási, István (advisor)
This thesis discusses the possibility of creating 3D Web sites. It primarily focuses on accelerated real time rendering of 3D scenes in a web browser. It uses a web-based graphics library WebGL. This thesis also deals with design of 3D user interface, and implementation of Web pages via JavaScript (WebGL). Finally, user assessments on the proposed implementation are evaluated and the overall results are discussed.
3D User Interfaces
Hradečný, Tomáš ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Žák, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the area of 3D user interfaces. It introduces several existing approaches to this topic as well as various types of I/O interaction devices. The main goal of this work was to design and implement concept 3D interface for hierarchical structures browser, that was demonstrated as a file-browser application. Final application was developed using OSG, undertaking simple user experience evaluation.
