Multimedia Extraction from Hard Disk Images
Csáder, Lukáš ; Koutenský, Michal (referee) ; Pluskal, Jan (advisor)
This work addresses the issues of computer forensic analysis and its essential role in the detection, analysis, and recovery of digital artifacts. The main objective is the identification, extraction, and documentation of multimedia artifacts with the aim of providing an automated tool for this purpose. The paper discusses the possibility of interoperability of The Sleuth Kit library in the .NET environment and the integration of the PhotoRec Carver tool into the Maxtor application. An important part is the creation of a custom testing dataset, which includes various file systems and deformations. The achieved results of testing are discussed with respect to their effectiveness in the proposed scenarios. The benefits and possibilities of this tool in the field of digital forensic analysis are evaluated.
Universal Graphic Editor of Screens for LCD Devices
Šmejdíř, Radek ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This thesis aims at development of a universal graphic screen editor for LCD devices made by Honeywell. The editor is one module of a complex application, which serves automated testing of thermostats and similar devices. In the editor a display layout can be designed, as well as the individual screens. The output is stored to an XML file. The application is written in C# and must be executable in the Microsoft .NET Framework.
MS Excel and Word Add-In for retrieving data from SQL database
Kamrla, David ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focus on development and implementation of the Add-In for Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word programs for a straight-forward access to the SQL database and writing results into an active worksheet or document. The Add-In creates user-friendly access into the Conference database for Institute of Automation and Computer Science for frequently used SQL queries. The Add-In can be reconfigured to be aligned for work with another database without change to the source code.
PC application design animation scripts for animated features headlamps / tail lamps.
Kalina, Michal ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Valach, Soběslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and creation of user-friendly computer application, which is in the simple and intuitive way capable of creating animation scripts for animated features of headlamps and tail lamps used in automotive industry. Part of this solution is visualization of these scripts using miniature computer Raspberry PI and suitable diplay device.
Information System Generating
Voborník, Petr ; Jirák, Ota (referee) ; Ruttkay, Ladislav (advisor)
The work sets out requirements for the implementation of information systems generator. It deals with finding common elements of information systems. Further it specifies requirements for registration of a conceptual model. Then it goes on to describe user's general point of view of systems. Implementation technologies are chosen and architecture of generated systems is designed based on mentioned analysis. Generated systems are designed to provide basic operations for working with items of the system. Moreover, different ways of generating code are discussed. Metamodel of conceptual model is designed and its possible types of representation are discussed. At the end problems which generator deals with are described.
Application for content management of Internet pages
Kaplan, Jiří ; Míča, Ivan (referee) ; Kacálek, Jan (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on description of .NET Framework, versions, architecture, assembly and data formats. Describes programming language C#, his supporting programming processes and architecture. Contains description of ASP.NET, characteristics, used directories, control items and design model Model-View-Controller. Next part describes usability .NET background for creation of aplication and comparsion with PHP. Shortly introduces with ADO.NET, databinding, databases, his types and SQL language and content management system. At the end is desribed database structure of content management system, user administration and his parts and functions.
C#-JavaScript Transpiler for DotVVM
Mrnuštík, Michal ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Pluskal, Jan (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is to solve issue of transpiling server code written in C# to client-side JavaScript code, so it could be run in the browser. And then implementing the proposed solution. Next goal is to integrate this solution into framework DotVVM and develop an application demonstrating this techonology.
Universal Analyzer of Serial Buses
Gajdoš, Matúš ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Sysel, Petr (advisor)
The purpose of this master’s thesis is to design and to realize the universal analyzer of serial buses. At the beginning there are described in detail specifications and properties of buses IC, SMBus, PMBus and of the UART interface. The second part is targeted especially to design and to realize the control unit, which is the main part of the whole analyzer. It provides connecting to the unknown bus, to buses IC, SMBus, PMBus and SPI and to the UART interface. The main part of the control unit is the microcontroller PIC24HJ128GP204, which partially analyses connected bus. In the next part there is created the user application for PC, which controls and sets the control unit and receives from it partially analyzed data through the USB port. These data are used for the rest of the analysis that is done by the user application. Results may be presented to user in graphical or text form. The user application provides export of results into some of image formats. Supported formats are PS, SVG, PDF, PNG and BMP. In case of the control unit is not available, the user may choose the simulator to simulate some functions that the application provides. It supports simulation of the analysis of the unknown bus and the IC bus. The user application also contains the function of the generating own signals. Signals can be created interactively by using the mouse in the graphical representation of this signal. They can be sent to the control unit and after that it applies them to output. This function is not supported in current version of the control unit software. The user application includes some items, which do not have implemented any methods and they are prepared for the future upgrading of the analyzer. It means especially user controls and components for signal conversions between any buses.
Mathematical and Statistical Methods as Support of the Development of Software Applications
Kinc, Petr ; Novotná, Veronika (referee) ; Šustrová, Tereza (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the design and development of the software tool using C# programming language and his subsequent implementation into the Microsoft Dynamics NAV information system. The task of this tool is to analyze the development of selected indicators using statistical methods and to predict their future development. On the basis of these predicted data, is created an indicative budget to support decision making on the determination of key accounting parameters and coefficients for the next accounting period in the company Vodovody a kanalizace Hodonín, a.s.
Development of the Software Application for Reservation and Management of the Corporate Vehicles
Klečka, Filip ; Koňařík, Aleš (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the design, development and subsequent implementation of the software application CarPark at the company BKB Metal Plc. In that case it is the complete supply ready-made solution. The aim of this work is to develop and implement the application into corporate information system that will provide complete management and control of the corporate vehicles and will especially provide reservation system for the employees at the company BKB Metal Plc. The impetus for this project was primarily the inefficiency of the current solution, efforts to reduce costs and to save time associated with the agenda of administration and booking and to automate related activities.
