Modern systems for lighting control
Klein, Tomáš ; Pavelka, Tomáš (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This Master's thesis deals with intelligent installation systems, focused on lighting systems using the DALI bus system. Theoretical part of this work includes a list of currently available intelligent installation systems and its use in both households and industrial buildings. A summarizing description of KNX and DALI bus systems and their actuators and actuating units are a part of this paper. The practical part proposes two examplary boards designed for laboratories of UEEN VUT in Brno and describes its construction, as well as the programs necessary for its programming, control and monitoring. The outcome of this Master's thesis is a survey of possible remote control of DALI bus system's actuators and mutual compatibility of KNX and DALI bus systems. Furthermore, this paper includes background material for laboratory task, based on data found about remote control and DALI bus system's monitoring.
Design of Loxone system installation control for a house with PV plant
Kořínek, Tomáš ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with a management proposal of Loxone system installation for a family house with a photovoltaic power plant. The first part of thesis deals with the characteristics of the Loxone system and its individual devices. The second part is already focused on the design of the algorithm and the implementation of the lighting, shading, heating and indoor environment of the building control in the Loxone Config program.
Use of modern inteligent wiring for building lighting
Hlinecký, Tomáš ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis concerns with problematic of modern intelligent wiring systems in buildings, meanwhile presents their advantages against old classical wiring systems. Also deals with utilization and properties of modern components for regulation, switching and light controlling. The first part deals with light sources and possible ways how to control the power of individual luminary sources. The second part discuss about utilization of radio-frequency systems in new buildings and also in reconstructions. In the next part is described a possibility of bus system for controlling building illumination scope with focusing to control system Nikobus. The last part is concerned on technical-economical evaluation of intelligent wiring systems by various manufacturers according to specific requirements.
Lightening control system with wireless interface
Hrbáček, Jan ; Srb, Jan (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The goal of the bachelor's thesis is to design a lightening control system with wireless interface intended to be used under conditions not allowing permanent control wiring. The system consists of one coordinator and several end devices communicating in accordance with the IEEE 802.15.4 Standard. The thesis includes background research on the theme and possible solutions, description of the circuit and the mechanical construction and analysis of the devices application firmware. The resulting devices built according to the thesis were continuously improved, so that the design is now fully functional and reliable.

New laboratory tasks for residential buildings management system
Winkler, Miroslav ; Janík, Daniel (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This work deals with intelligent residential building management systems with a focus on ABB free@home system from ABB, as well as the design of a laboratory tasks with the elements of this system for two-hour and three-hour laboratory exercises. The aim of the work is to familiarize yourself with systems for the management of residential buildings and to create laboratory tasks for working with the ABB free@home system. In the introduction of the work is an explanation of concepts related to systems for the management of residential buildings, followed by the division of systems by these concepts and research of systems for the management of residential buildings. The search deals with the selected systems that are the most widely used and is finished with a table containing a summary of the most important information about these systems. The next chapter contains an introduction to the ABB free@home system, which was used in the practical part of the work. The following chapter deals with the design and implementation of a laboratory tasks with the ABB free@home. The last chapter contains a tutorial for two-hour exercise and a tutorial for a three-hour exercise. The work achieves complete implementation of laboratory tasks for two-hour and three-hour exercises, including tutorials for these tasks.
Use compact control systems to control lighting by DALI protocol
Uchytil, Tomáš ; Baxant, Petr (referee) ; Škoda, Jan (advisor)
This thesis describes the system of lighting control via digital signals. In particular DALI protocol, this is used as a standard in this control. There is description of possibilities of connecting control units and a principal of communication between a load and the control unit. Also this thesis contains the conception of control via compact control systems, where is used a converter RS232/DALI.
