The thesis focuses on the optimization of the costing system in the selected company, analyzes cost deviations and identifies the main causes of increased costs for key products from the first serial production. Based on the conducted analysis, the author creates a tailor-made cost tracking tool. Furthermore, the thesis offers recommendations for controlling improvements that make the management of variances more effective and improve the financial performance of the company.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of cost management in XYZ, spol. s.r.o., a company engaged in rubber production, metal fabrication, self-service food sales, bakery and custom sewing. The thesis is divided into three parts: theoretical, analytical and design. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts and data that will be used in the following sections. The analytical part describes in detail the company itself, its financial situation and the costing methods. In the last part, which focuses on suggestions for improving the current situation, a system for cost allocation and subsequent optimization of costing for individual products is proposed based on the analysis.

The theoretical part compiles the classification of costs, calculations, and tools and processes of cost management. The practical part then describes cost management in the analyzed company. Both vertical and horizontal financial analysis are rendered – from the analyses, precautions are defined, as well as cost items, which are suggested to be paid attention to.

The theoretical part clarifies the issue of costs and calculation. The thesis itself involves the company profile; the other part is devoted to the cost analysis and the cost management system in the company. In conclusion, the current situation of the cost management is assessed, as well as some proposals and recommendations for the improvement of the company cost management are listed there.

This thesis is devoted to management of construction contract and the thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on familiarizing with some concepts of project management, cost control, time management and risk management. At the end of the theoretical part, there are described types of construction of a family house. Practical part involves applying these principles on the example of the particular construction work contract. It also describes and analyzes organization of construction contract and together with risk management meets the appointed target. The desired output of theses is processing of necessary documents for the management of specific construction contract by house raising.
