Outline of the history of pietism and its reflection in spirituality of Czechoslovak Hussite Church

It descripes contemporary background of pietism, the sources from which he drew and its various forms. Observes how pietism resolved the crisis of the Church and society. It describes the basic emphases of pietism, supporting notes and warning elements. The second part deals with the time and cause of constitution of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church, practical expressions of piety of its members and its inclination to the biblical theology of personalism. The emphasis on a personal relationship with God and to another human being nurtured by studying the Scriptures in the community and a new emphasis on active and responsible reborn man who is active in the world, is the central theme of pietism and the new generation of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church.

Marriage from a Christian Perspective

Manželství z křesťanského pohledu Marriage from a Christian Perspective Šárka Ambrosio This work is based on the provisions of the biblical creation of man (as male and female) and the concept of marriage in the New and Old Testament. I reflected on the legal status of marriage in modern society and the provision of marriage according to the order of the Roman Catholic Church, the Czechoslovak Hussite Church society and the Christian community center as well as comparing their views on marriage and their wedding ceremonies. This literal work is divided into two parts. The first section is a biblical description of marriage from the old and new testament and its perspective regarding marriage from these three individual churches. The second section describes ten moral values of a healthy Christian marriage from my own personal observations and studies from the Bible. This chapter may be an inspiration to many people and to their marriages. The various questions about marriage are answered in the Bible. Every marriage has the chance to resolve its own issues for a healthy and satisfying relationship. Health and desease - the point of selected churches in Czech Republic

The aim of the thesis is to find out the view of the spiritual leaders of the chosen Churches in the Czech Republic about the health and illness. Even though the Czech Republic is one of the most secularised countries in the world, Christianity is the mostly represented religion in here. Therefore, intentionally there were chosen three Christian Churches for the thesis, to discuss their attitudes towards the health and illness and compare their eventual differences. The respondents were five representatives from each of the following Churches Roman Catholic Church, Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren, and Czechoslovak Hussite Church. The study is based on qualitative interviews and respondents were chosen from the spiritual leaders.
