Presentation of the selected collections of renaissance and baroque paintings in Bohemia and Moravia This Bachelor Thesis refers to the presentation of works of renaissance and baroque paintings in the most important Bohemian and Moravian galleries. The Thesis is especially focused on the permanent exhibitions of the National Gallery in Prague, Moravian Gallery in Brno, Archdiocesan Museum in Olomouc and Kroměříž and the Strahov Gallery and their description, evaluation and comparison. The thesis is also aims attention to the creation of permanent exhibitions and the function of art museums in last fifty years. In the last chapter, the presentations of Czech collections are compared to the foreign permanent exhibition of renaissance and baroque art in The National Gallery in London and in Galleria Degli Ufizzi in Florence.
The Renaissance appearance of the chateau in Častolovice

The Renaissance appearance of the chateau in Častolovice This thesis will deal with the appearance of the Renaissance chateau in Častolovice at a time when the owners of the estate were Oppersdorfs of Oppersdorf. This family rebuilt the original fortress into the Renaissance chateau. The major reconstruction took place between the years 1588 and 1615 during the possession of Fridrich of Oppersdorf. The thesis is primarily intended to introduce the apperance of the chateau, which had Frederick and his wife Magdalena of Donín built. First it approaches the historical context of the city Častolovice and the genus of Oppersdorf to relation with the chateau at this time. Then it will pursues the architectual development of the chateau during the property of Oppersdorfs. Finally it focuses on the fresco decorations of the courtyard and also marginally preserved parts of the Renaissance interior. In my bachelor thesis I deal with portrayal of the Last Judgement in the Czech Republic in 15th -16th century. The first part was conceived as an introduction to Last Judgment - the Last judgment as a socio-cultural phenomenon; causes and history showing the last judgment; iconological-iconographic description of the subject. In the second part I'm devoted to the main topic, portrayal of the last judgment in Bohemia in the 15th-16th century. I'm trying to a compendium of all the works of art in our country, and they are especially frescoes. I also deal with the causes of their emergence, seeking their sources of inspiration and subjugation the iconographic-iconographic analysis. Then compare the individual works, not only among themselves but also with older parts that originated outside our area.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is a description of building and historical development of the Large Ball Game Hall at the Prague Castle. It was built by Bonifác Wolmut for the emperor Maxmilian II. in the years 1567-1569. The thesis is focused on the historical circumstances around the origins and genesis of Large Ball Game Hall.

Sebastiano Ricci and his work in the Czech collections Bachelor thesis titled Sebastiano Ricci and his work in the Czech collections. This work deals with first a brief history and Baroque art in Venice. Then there pointed out the historical context of the Czech territory and presenting artists who came out most of the Venetian tradition. There are presented life of stories of Venetian painters Sebastiano and Marco Ricci and their mutual cooperation, and this uncle and nephew. The chapter dedicated to cooperation with Marc, and chapter discusses general works, to which Marco perhaps artistically involved. The last part is devoted to a catalog of works that are owned Czech, Moravian Gallery and locks. Castel Brtnice and its Renaissance design in the second half of the 16th century

Castel Brtnice and its renaissance design in the second half of the 16th century This bachelor thesis deals with the Brtnice castle, located on top of the hill above the Brtnice town, in Western Moravia, the part of Vysočina county now. The castle was founded in the 15th century of Zdeněk of Wallenstein and it was built in the Late Ghotic style. During the rule of his son Hynek Brtnický of Wallenstein (in second half of the 16th century) was conducted reconstruction of the castle into Renaissance chateau. Hynek was rich lutheran and humanistic educated lord and wanted appropriate representative residence in style which he recognized during his diplomatic travels. The style of the Italian Renaissance most impressed him. Remarkable part of the reconstruction were a arcade loggie, which are situated on the third courtyard of the chateau. Main topic of this thesis focus on period of Renaissance reconstruction, the person of donator and main architect, which could be North Italian architect Baldassare Maggi. "The iconography of the Costa's Triumph of Fame in the Bentivoglio chapel in the church of San Giacomo Maggiore in Bologna" This work deals with iconography analysis of fresco Triumph of Fame in Bentivoglio chapel in San Giacomo Maggiore in Bologna. This large artwork is one of the few surviving evidences of Bentivoglio's age in Bologna. Fresco is standing out among another artworks with the same subject. The aim of the work is connection with literature, historical context and summary of previous researches. The work contains an overview of iconography of Triumphs and digression about cultural and historical context. In this work was very used another-language literature, particularly Italian and English. For the work were done some translations of Latin and Italian quotations, which help for interpretation. The work starts by basic description and interpretation of subjects and puts the artwork into the cultural and historical context. At first, this bachelor thesis will describe the life of Jan van Goyen, then briefly focus on the historical facts, which influenced the artist in his work and summarise the differences between him and the other Dutch artists. The way his work had been developing during his life will follow. The main aim of this thesis will be to summarise all of the existing findings about the work of Jan van Goyen in the National Gallery, catalogue his paintings currently situated in the National Gallery.

The thesis topic will deal with the construction and historical development of the Renaissance chateau in Kostelec nad Černými Lesy, located in central Bohemia, especially in the 16th century. The thesis will also take account of the significant personalities and families, which made changes on the shape of the chateau and this thesis also focuses on the significant changes of the chateau.
