Effect of geographical location on solar systems performance
Kuljovský, Martin ; Weismanová, Júlia (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
The sharp price increase and the impending depletion of fossil fuels has led to an increasing interest in renewable resources. This thesis deals with one of the most lucrative substitution between renewable sources - the solar energy. The introduction describes the emergence and spread of energy in the universe, then is devoted to basic distribution of collectors and informs about the possibilities of their use. In particular, it contains formulas for calculating the basic performance characteristics and then comparing differences between panels. Finally, it compares the effectiveness of collectors for different geographical locations in the Czech Republic.
Air to water heat pumps
Špatenka, Jindřich ; Weismanová, Júlia (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
Topic of the bachelor thesis are heat pumps air - water. The first part deals with the principle of heat pump and development since the inception to the present day, as well as a brief indication of other types of heat pumps and their adventages and disadvantages. In the next part are selected heat pumps from different manufacturers achieved by heating factors, performance and other parameters. Followed by used circuits of heat pumps. In the third section are described the component parts of heat pumps and their distribution.
Effect of orientation on solar systems performance
Daněk, Tomáš ; Weismanová, Júlia (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
The work explains the influence of orientation and inclination on the performance of solarcollector. The first part shows how the formation of the solar energy and how it gets onEarth and in what form we are able to capture it. In the second part of the work focuses on the basic parameters of the solar collector and method of calculating theperformance and efficiency. The next section describes the most common types of solarcollectors and their field of application. In conclusion the results of the calculation andevaluation of the influence and orientation angle on the performance of a particular type of solar collector.
Modern methods of control of heating systems
Machala, Martin ; Weismanová, Júlia (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
The aims of the thesis are modern methods of control of heating systems. Basic principles of regulations are explained and methods of control of heating sources and exchangers are explored. Heating system of family building is projected with two types of control – equithermal regulation with thermostatic heads and individual room control (IRC). Both variants are simulated in program TRNSYS 16.1. From the results are concluded advantages and disadvantages of examined systems of control.
Ground source heat pumps
Nykl, František ; Weismanová, Júlia (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes and characterizes the ground source heat pumps. It also contains a summary of other types of heat pumps in terms of principle, the acquisition of energy and environmental performance. The reader is acquainted with the history, components and an example of the use of heat pumps in practice.
