Bilateral Asymmetries of Lower Limb's Muscle Activity during Basic Movement of Cha-Cha-Cha dance
Vondrášek, David ; Sládek, Vladimír (advisor) ; Bigoni, Lucie (referee)
1 Abstract The purpose of this study was to describe the degree of bilateral asymmetry of lower limbs' muscle activity in the dance movement Cha-cha-cha and to determine the cause of bilateral asymmetries of lower limbs' muscle activity. Differences in muscle activity of contralateral lower limbs might be caused by the factor of bilaterally asymmetrical movement patterns, the factor of neural pathways or the factor of training. We hypotetize that comparing the direction of bilateral asymmetry in muscle activity between asymmetrical dance movement and its mirror alternative can determine the cause of bilateral asymmetry in muscle activity of lower limbs within the movement. We studied 14 volunteers (7 men, 7 women), all were actively dancing at competitive level. We tested the muscle activity of musculus vastus lateralis (VL), musculus biceps femoris (BF), musculus tibialis anterior (TA) a musculus gastrocnemius lateralis (GL) using surface electromyography. The dance movement Cha-cha-cha was bilaterally asymmetrical in the muscle activity of VL, TA and GL. Direction of lower limbs' muscle activity indicates, that TA, being a muscle responsible for foot movement, might be affected by the factor of neural pathways and brain laterality, while VL and GL might be more affected by the factor of training. The use of full face mask in scuba diving physically handicapped for interruption of the spinal cord
Bytelová, Sophie ; Vondrášek, David (advisor) ; Bažant, Filip (referee)
Title: The use of full face mask in scuba diving physically handicapped for interruption of the spinal cord. Objectives: The aim is to find out if it is possible to use a full face mask during assisted scuba handicapped with the interruption of the spinal cord and to what extent these masks have a positive impact on the safety of scuba diving with an assistant so affected. Methods: Since that the full face masks are used in that way first, was chosen the method experiment in a protected environment with limited water depth of 4 metres. For finding out of contribution in field security then the method of uncontrolled interviews with experts after the experiment itself and of form the test with physically disabled and experts were detected additional information. Results: Full face masks during assisted scuba handicapped with the interruption of the spinal cord can be advantageously used and in the test group had a significant effect on the safety of scuba diving with an assistant so affected. Keywords: Scuba diving, full face masks, physically handicapped with interruption of the spinal cord, quadriplegia, paraplegia.
Hyperbaric environment and its impact on the physical performance
Muráňová, Jana ; Vondrášek, David (advisor) ; Pavlů, Dagmar (referee)
Title: Hyperbaric environment and it's impact on physical performance Objectives: To investigate possible impact of of hyperbaric environment on individual's performance compared to normobaric environment with constant physical load. To outline the hyperbaric environment from physical side of view. To determine the usability of these effects for Training and regeneration purposes for athletes. Methods: The five respondents completed two sessions of Kinderman-Schnabell test. There was a seven days gap between hyperbaric and normobaric sessions to exclude the influence of fatique. Each session consisted of 40 seconds of sub-maximal load and a maximal load after 40 minutes rest. The squats were used as anaerobic type of load. The responders were taken a blood samples from finger and earlobe to state the level of lactate. Other measured indicators were blood pressure, heart and respirátory rate. The respondents also stated the subjective level of fatique using visual scale Results: The hyperbaric environment of 3 ATA had a significant effect on heart rate reduction. The sub-max load average was 86 bpm (resp. 99 bpm at normobaric environment) and the max-load average was 101 bpm (resp. 120 bpm normobaric). No significant effect was measured on blood pressure level averages. The sub-max load indicated...
Narcotic effect of nitrogen at higher partial pressures of the intellect of divers
Zeithaml, Jaroslav ; Vondrášek, David (advisor) ; Bažant, Filip (referee)
Title: The influence of the narcotic effect of nitrogen at higher partial pressures of the intellect divers. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the extent of impact of the intellect divers at dephts using air. Hypothes: More experienced divers will be at a pressure corresponding to 80 meters in the air diving report factually and statistically better value at specified tests on intelect than novice divers. Substantive signifikance level was set at a difference of more that 10%. Statistical signifikance was chosen at the level of P<0,05. Methods: In this work was usedcompilation, comparison, testing, statistical evaluation of data using Student's T - test. Results: When testing the probands was confirmed hypothesis. It was found that more experienced divers showed statistically and substantively better values in test intellect at adequate pressure 80 meters before beginning divers Keywords: Scuba diving, nitrogen intoxication, hyperbaric chamber, diving safety, intellect

Effect of water environment on fine motor skills
Les, Martin ; Vondrášek, David (advisor) ; Bažant, Filip (referee)
Title: Effect of water environment on fine motor skills Objectives: The aim of study is to assess the changes fine motor skills due to intoxication depth while diving with air between surface and 40 meters. Methods: The first method was used empirically - research. Then the method chosen of compilation of the information obtained. The basic method to work was the experimental measurement method specially constructed tests on fine motor skills. All measured values were statistically processed as follows. Results: The results were formulated as a percentage, graphs and tables. Recording was carried out by recording the time data. Their percentage of the overall approach to the exercise time mastering fine motor skills in different environments. All results obtained were processed and evaluated. Keywords: diving, depth intoxication, fine motor skills
The casuistry of fatal accidents in apparatus diving in the Czech Republic
Kleinová, Karolína ; Vondrášek, David (advisor) ; Bažant, Filip (referee)
Title: The casuistry of fatal accidents in apparatus diving in the Czech Republic Objectives: This paper's goal is to describe and explain some particular fatal accidents in apparatus diving in the Czech Republic in years 1997-2004. As well as to show possible reasons and contexts of the elements leading to divers'passings. Methods: In this work was used a case study method, qualitative analysis of a diving expert evidences and subsequent reading of surveyed information Results: An important discovery is frequent neglecting of safety policy and overrating self capability in connection with the level of competence and experience. The most frequent downfall in surveyed cases is drowning. Keywords: diving, fatal accidents, risk elements

Accidents in paragliding
Kadlecová, Kristýna ; Dvorský, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Vondrášek, David (referee)
Title: Accidents in paragliding Objectives: Main target of this bachelor work is to obtain an overall information and overview about accidents in paragliding. Based on acquired data provide an analysis of main cause of the accident and its origin. Review those accidents in relation to meteorological conditions and pilot experiences. Attempt to create a guideline for pilot to prevent such accidents to happen and contribute to increase of flying security. Methods: To fulfill the target of my bachelor's work I have collected the secondary data from the investigations of flying accidents in past 5 years in the area of Czech Republic, which are in evidence of Letecká amatérksá asociace (LAA) ČR (Flying amateur association CR). Results: I have collected and filed 79 cases of investigation of flying accidents in my work file. Those accidents are from the 2005 till 2012. All data has been filed in tables and graphs and also the data has been interpreted. In the results of my work it has been founded that biggest problem in origin of flying accidents is flying in improper conditions and absence of flying experiences and also unfamiliarity with meteorology principles and its application to real condition. Key words: accident, paragliding, security
