Humic substances as transport medium for plant nutrition
Vlková, Markéta ; Solná, Irena (referee) ; Klučáková, Martina (advisor)
This bachelor thesis treats about humic matters and their application in agriculture by means of hydrogels transport medium. It studies progressive releasing of substances, which could be used as more common nutrition for plants, prepared from superabsorbent polymers. Research was implemented in collaboration with industrial partners. The substances are synthetically made of sodium Lignohumate and mixture of industrial fertilizer called NPK. Released substances were characterized by using some methods. First, there were measured qualities, which didn’t specify released compounds, like swelling, conductivity, pH and absorption of hydrogels with different wavelengths. More details came with methods ICP-OES and ion chromatography. Hydrogels which contained both mixtures of matters written up, were studied in water solution for 5 weeks and every week all characterization were measured. From the results we can see that both of the mixtures decrease ability of hydrogel’s swelling, mainly NPK. Measuring of absorption showed that the most of the substances released from sodium Lignohumate were from hydrogels without NPK. By other measuring, we noticed realizing of potassium and phosphorus elements. The most of them were from hydrogels containing NPK. By measuring ion chromatography, we found chloride, phosphoric, sulfuric and nitric ions in solution.

1 ABSTRACT Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Botany Candidate: Markéta Vlková Supervisor: PharmDr. Marcela Šafratová, Ph.D. Title of Diploma Thesis: Isolation of alkaloids of the species Geissospermum vellosii Allemão and study of their biological activity V. The study was supported by projects SVV 260 550 and PROGRES Q42 Key words: Geissospermum vellosii, isolation, indol alkaloids, Alzheimer's disease, AChE, BChE, cytotoxicity, Apocynaceae The Geissospermum vellosii, a tree traditionally growing in the Amazon rainforest is rich in indole alkaloids, which showed a potential effect in the treatment of cognitive degeneration such as Alzheimer's disease. In the previous study of ADINACO group, a diethylether alkaloidal extract from 43 kg of dried crushed stem bark was prepared and separated by column chromatography into 16 fractions (GV). In this study, we used flash chromatography to further separate the fraction GV-3 (1.37 g) into 11 subfractions (A-K). Based on control TLC, we focused on subfractions C and J, from which three alkaloids were isolated by preparative TLC. The NMR and GC/MS-EI techniques determined the structure and confirmed the purity of the obtained compounds. The compounds were identified as 19,20-dihydrovincanine,...
Game Principles in Czech Improv Theatre
Vlková, Markéta ; Just, Vladimír (advisor) ; Sarkissian, Alena (referee)
The main theme of this bachelor thesis is a reception of the czech improv theatre through game principles categories as Roger Caillois, the french sociologist, has defined them. The author of the thesis discover every single principle (mimicry, alea, agon, ilinx) in creations of some important personalities and subjects of czech improv theatre (Vlasta Burian, V+W, Ivan Vyskočil, Jaroslav Dušek, Improliga). Despite of strict quailification made by Caillois, she finds those principles functional together in a harmony. In the early chapters she tries to define the game phenomenon using various conception of the game from philosophical and sociological aspect. In addition, she distinguish the improvisation concept between improv in author's theatre and improv as the theatre sport. In the end of the thesis, she pays attention also to the role of entertainer which is the connecting character among all examined ways of improv theatre.
