Assessment of Uncertainty of Neural Net Predictions in the Tasks of Classification, Detection and Segmentation
Vlasák, Jiří ; Kohút, Jan (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This work focuses on comparing three widely used methods for improving uncertainty estimations: Deep Ensembles, Monte Carlo Dropout, and Temperature Scaling. These methods are applied to six computer vision models that are pretrained as well as trained from scratch. The models are then evaluated on computer vision datasets for classification, semantic segmentation, and object detection using a wide range of metrics. The models are also evaluated on distorted versions of these datasets to measure their performance on out-of-distribution data.      These modified models achieve promising results. Ensembles outperform the other models by as high as 70 % in accuracy and 0.2 in IOU on the distorted MedSeg COVID-19 segmentation dataset while also outperforming the other models on the CIFAR-100 and FMNIST datasets.

The Deanery of Prachen in the Late Middle Ages
Vlasák, Jiří ; Pátková, Hana (advisor) ; Zilynská, Blanka (referee)
Bc. Jiří Vlasák, Deanery of Prácheň in the Late Middle Ages, Diploma Thesis, Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Arts, 2015 This thesis deals with the church administration of the Prácheň's deanery, chiefly within the Late Middle Ages. It focuses on individual parishes in terms of their patronates, assets background, territorial scope of authority and parish clergy. Moreover, it deals with other types of benefactions of the deanery, yet attention is dedicated to the deanery as a whole, too. Chief historical resources used were official records of the Archidiocese of Prague, primarily books of confirmation and books of erection, and the records of the Prague's consisory. Key words: church administration, Prácheň's deanery, 14th and 15th century, clergy, assets background, territorial scope

Church administration of the region of Sušice in the late Middle Ages
Vlasák, Jiří ; Pátková, Hana (advisor) ; Zilynská, Blanka (referee)
Jiří VLASÁK, Church administration of the region of Sušice in the late Middle Ages, The thesis, Charles University in Prague, The Faculty of Arts, 2012, The thesis is about the church administration in the region of Sušice as part of Prácheň deanery, primarily in the late Middle Ages. The thesis is focused especially on parishes in terms of sponsorial laws, financial circumstances of churches and renting of presbyteries. The text also includes another kinds of benefices in region. The attention is also devoted to local clergy. As main source of information were used administrative sources of Czech archbishopric, primarily confirm and erection books and judicial documents from Prague consistory. For inclusion of the information into the context are also added the parts about Czech church administration in the late Middle Ages and mediaeval history of the Sušice region. Key words: Sušice, Prácheň deanery, 14th and 15th centuries, church administration, presbyteries
Vliv podmínek na nutriční hodnotu lososovitých ryb z intenzivních systémů chovu
Vlasák, Jiří
Presented diploma thesis deals with the issue of nutritional characteristics of the fish meat. Practical part is focused on the composition of rainbow trout meat originated from different rearing conditions. Samples for experimental evaluation were taken on June 14th-- 16th, 2014 from five fish-rearing facilities equipped with different rearing system. Ten rainbow trouts in marketable weight were taken from each facility to particular analysis. The fish were measured for length and weight characteristics from which the indices and indicators for condition and exterior evaluation were subsequently calculated. Also the yield and viscerosomatic index of fish were assessed. Biochemical composition of tissues, spectrum of fatty acids and sensory evaluation were assessed for the evaluation of nutritive value. The origin of fish was tested by genetic analysis. The best condition of rainbow trout was found out in flow-through system with short-time recirculation. The highest yield (almost 90%) was reached in fish with initial rearing in fish storage and consequent rearing in fishpond. Biochemical composition of muscle was significantly different mainly in the content of dry matter and fat. There was proved a mutual dependence between the content of dry matter and content of fat. The best results in sensory evaluation were reached in fish from flow-through system, the worst were reached in fish from recirculation facility. Genetic analysis recognised 4 homozygous haplotype and 1 heterozygous haplotype.
