Using Game Mechanics Outside Games

The work is divided into two parts. The first is devoted to theoretical introduction to the use of game mechanics or gamification. The second part describes the design, implementation and evaluation of my practical application of game elements in ARGO association. The results indicate some positive changes in people behavior, but not all parameters were shown utilizable due to the size of the data sample.

In my bachelor thesis I thoroughly explore film forums, markets and festival. I summarize opportunities which are offered to producers and film professionals at such events. I implant Karlovy Vary IFF inside this extensive network of worldwide film industry events and I define its position on the imaginary festival map.
Marketing strategies in the development stage of a film project

The bachelor thesis is concerned with the marketing strategies in the development stage of a film. Its aim is to describe the substeps which a film producer should take in the course of the development in order to provide possibly the best conditions for its realization and production and to succeed on the European film market. Individual chapters focus on film marketing from the development of the original idea to the screenplay until its presentation to the target audience, in this stage the film professionals. In the conclusion I will address the issue of how these producer's activities and operations are positioned in the context of the ordinary practice in the Czech Republic.

This bachelor thesis on the topic "Public Expenditure in the Budget of the Czech Republic and Financing of Sport" deals with public financing of sport in the Czech Republic. The goal of this bachelor thesis is to in detail describe and evaluate present situation in the financing of sport from the public resources and to analyze, if this financing is adequate or not. In the introduction there are some reasons, why sport should be supported by public finance. Some positive and negative externalities are shown and described there. In this bachelor thesis you can find what the position of sport in the Czech economy is, as well as the development of the financing of sport in the Czech Republic through last century. There is also description of the financing of sport from the state budget and from budgets of regional complexes. In the end of the work is an experiment, which shows how the financing of sport can impact the state of public health in the Czech Republic.

Browser-games market is controlled by german companies, which make games for the whole world. It looks like no one else has chance to succeed. However there are interesting local project that covers the gaps on the market. But they are mostly hobby projects. And I ask myself the question, if there is possibility to make these games on local level professional approach. I´m not sure if I answer this question, but I certainly propose new ways that could work.

This work is focusing on the development of feature film projects made by independent producers. It defines the development of movies in Czech and European area. The work itself is divided into sections to represent different parts of feature film development ? for example: works on screenplay, legal aspects, marketing and financing. Except all these aspects there are mentioned differences between the development in a studio system as opposite to the development made by independent producers. The work also tries to reflect history of the development in the Czech Republic with attention to recent history (studio system). In this work is also possible to find a subchapter which is dedicated to television development focusing on television series as a related genre to film development.
Video in the Web 2.0

This Bachelor work deals with video, Web 2.0 and their reciprocal relation. Whereas it is a very complex topic the first chapter focuses on introduction to the issue of video, characteristics of video and connected technologies. It deals with conceptions as data stream, resolution, colour, depth of colour, interleaving, compression, multimedia containers and so on. There is a brief comment on issues of audio compression at the end of the first chapter. The second chapter follows video and Web 2.0 interconnection where the intersection of video and the internet is described and consequently there is a transition to the conception of Web 2.0 and its historical delimitation and definition. The notion of streaming occurs there for the first time there and is further analysed on a network layer as well as on an application layer. The last third chapter deals with social aspects of streaming services as YouTube, Stream.cz and others. This chapter tries through the pondering to refer to the fact that streaming services are not determinate by only technological elements but also social effects which act on users of these services.
