Modelling IS-IS and TRILL
Marek, Marcel ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
In this thesis, we describe the principles of IS-IS routing protocol. We introduce the current state of implementation of this protocol within the simulation framework OMNeT++. We present the implementation of the IS-IS protocol created within the ANSA project. Moreover, we employ its variant called TRILL that is nowadays deployed as replacement of STP in data-center environment. The aim is to enable the modelling of the protocols without the need having to build physical architecture.
Modelling Gateway Redundancy Protocols
Vítek, Petr ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
This master's thesis report deals with the theoretical analysis of FHRP. First Hop Redundancy Protocols are network protocols which are designed to protect the default gateway and also to ensure high availability in the network by using redundancy. The reader becomes familiar with protocols VRRP, HSRP and GLBP and also learn the way how to configure them to on real Cisco devices. It also describes how implement VRRP int the simulated enviroment of OMNeT++. The result of the implementation is verified in the test topologies.
BitCoin Wallet for Windows Phone Platform
Prokop, Tomáš ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
Master's thesis deals with description of a new trading system known as BitCoin. Bitcoin is a unique type of virtual cash in the current world without the influence of large corporations. The system is protected through the use of cryptographic methods that are discussed in detail.  The work explains the principles of integrity of transactions exchange transactions and the acquisition of new money through so-called miners. Individual miners services are mediated through software clients including a description of mining. The paper focuses on protocols for communication. It analyzes the different types of software purses for platforms Windows, Linux and Android. Examining reengineering of purses for Android. This document in no small part discusses the implementation own wallets for the Windows Phone platform 8th.
Modelling PIM-SM in OMNeT++
Procházka, Tomáš ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
In this master's thesis I deal with modelling and simulating of multicast routing protocol PIM Sparse Mode in OMNeT++. I also describe basic information about multicast, protocol PIM-SM, its configuration and multicast data streams visualization in computer networks. The thesis is especially focused on design and implementation of PIM-SM in OMNeT++ and extension of ANSAINET library.
Modelling of EIGRP Routing Protocol
Bloudíček, Jan ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
The network simulation allows analysis of the computer networks behavior and configured protocols. This thesis focuses on the EIGRP routing protocol and its integration into the OMNeT++ simulation enviroment. The text includes a detailed description of the protocol and its configuration on Cisco devices. Furthermore, the text focuses on design of extension that supports routing protocol. The following describes implementation of the protocol according to design. Finally, the implemented solution is compared with the output of real devices.
GPU Accelerated Ciphers Cracking
Schmied, Jan ; Kajan, Michal (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
This work describes one - way hash functions and cryptographic algorithms . It also describes their implementation regarding DOC, PDF and ZIP files contents encryption . Subsequently , the implementation analyzis is provided . Following next, the brute - force attack procedure levereging GPU is proposed and evaluated.
Modelling of OSPFv3 Link-State Routing Protocol
Mrázek, Jakub ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
OMNeT++ is a discrete event, modular simulator often used for simulation of computer networks. The universal simulator can be extended by various packages, such as INET framework, which is used for simulation of devices and TCP/IP protocols. This thesis examines facilities of INET package in the routing that is dynamic routing protocols. Concretely, it aims at OSPF protocol for IPv6 networks (OSPFv3). The protocol is presented and its principles are interpreted. The work is designed to simulate the module OSPFv3 protocol and module is partially implemented.
Bitcoin Mining Acceleration
Novotný, Jan ; Veselý, Vladimír (referee) ; Kajan, Michal (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with virtual currency called Bitcoin. It describes the functioning of the currency of technical perspective especially the implementation of the transaction, the way of its validation and ensuring the integrity by using cryptographic functions. Furthermore, it describes the principle of the Bitcoin creation, particularly mining method called pooled mining. The thesis also describes the communication protocols and design of architecture to acceleration of the bitcoin mining. Finally, there are described tests, assessment and proposals for the continuation of work.
Validation of Network Parameters Based on Network Monitoring
Martínek, Radim ; Veselý, Vladimír (referee) ; Žádník, Martin (advisor)
The Master's Thesis presents a theoretical introduction, familiarization with the issue and a implementation for a solution of a "network parameter validation" tool, which is founded on principle of network traffic monitoring. Firstly, the current development of computer network setup is analyzed with its limitations. This is an initial point for an introduction of a new approach for implementation and verification of required network setting, which uses techniques of verification, simulation and validation. After the introduction into the context, validation techniques are specifically examined. The Thesis main contribution lies in the capacity to determine appropriate parameters, which can be used for validation and also for implementation of the tool, which ensures validation process. The network traffic, which characterizes the behavior of the network, is collected by NetFlow technology, which generates network flows. These flows are consequently used by the designed tool used for validation of required network parameters. This process overall verifies whether the main computer network requirements have been met or not.
Modelling of Distance-Vector Routing Protocols
Trhlík, Jiří ; Matoušek, Petr (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the implementation of the RIPng routing protocol in the OMNeT++/INET environment. It describes the RIPng protocol and its specifics on the Cisco devices. It clarifies important concepts such as IPv6 and distance-vector routing protocols. The thesis also describes the OMNeT++ environment and the INET Framework, where it focuses on the current status of implementation of the components required for the RIPng protocol integration.
