Number size distributions had been monitored with high time resolution during an intense experimental campaign at a remote continental sampling site Bily Kriz. The site is located at the NE tip of the Czech Republic in the hilly region. The campaign had ben carried out at the end of June 2001. Several very interesting events were observed when formation of large amounts of new aerosol particles occured in the day time. Due to the behaviour of other measured parameters it was concluded that the so called "nucleation events" took place on a mesoscale region. Detailed record
