The Representation of Russia in Teaching Sets for Teaching Russian at Secondary Schools and Students' Reflection

This diploma thesis deals with presentation of russian culture, life and institutions in teaching sets for teaching russian at czech high schools. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the role of russian language in the contemporary world and the history of teaching russian in the Czech republic, presents Curricular documents. The thesis also deals with the meaning of a teaching set during learning language and present teaching sets for teaching russian, which were analyzed as an instrument for teaching culture and acquiring of communication skills. The practical part of this thesis analyses the teaching files Радуга по- новому, Снова Класс! and Твой шанс and offers the complete summary of representation of russian culture in these teaching sets. The main aim of this thesis is to compare the image of Russian Federation in selected teaching sets with a real high school students' knowledge. The realised research shows that the students' knowledge are not noticeably different under the terms of type of high school or a teaching set that they use. The majority of responders made known that their teaching set includes enough information about culture, nevertheless their knowledge is not good. The influence of Thomas Moore's work on Russian poetry of the 19th century

This bachelor thesis studies the influence of the work of the Irish poet Thomas More on the development of Russian poetry in the 19th century. The aim of the thesis is to establish the prerequisites for influence, as well as the consequences of this influence in Russian literature. The work consists of three parts. In the first part, we got acquainted with the facts from the biography of Thomas More, which subsequently left a mark in the works of the author. In addition, we examined the poet's work from the point of view of Russian literary criticism. It is worth noting here that close attention to More's work flared up during the period of his greatest fame. The cycle of poems "Irish Melodies" served as inspiration not only for Russian society, but also interested many other consciousness in European countries. In the second part, we examined how the reforms of Peter I contributed to the emergence of Westernism and Slavophilism and how these tendencies subsequently influenced the perception of the Irish poet by the literary society in Russia, as well as how the traditions of Mohr's work are reflected in the poetry of M. Russian and Czech Christmas Folk Traditions at the Lessons of Russian Language

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis and detailed description of the basic holidays of the civil year. The theoretical part of the thesis contains the study of the most popular folk traditions, religious rituals and beliefs of the Slavs, the way how Christian church (Catholic and Orthodox) influenced on the origin of fundamental traditions and rituals. There is also a description of the way the major Slavonic holidays are held. Czech and Russian traditions are compared in order to find some basic similarities and differences between them and to analyze the development of the traditions in historical context. Such issues as language pedagogy, intercultural language competence and how to use traditions at Russian lessons at primary and secondary schools are also emphasized in the work. The practical part of the thesis deals with the analysis of some books used for teaching Russian language at Czech schools in order to find out how customs, folk traditions and holidays are described and presented. Resumé Tématem bakalářské práce jsou křesťanské motivy v poetice románu Lva Nikolajeviče Tolstého Vzkříšení. Cílem práce bylo sledovat přístup autora ke křesťanskému učení v románu. První část práce se věnuje historii pravoslavné církve v Rusku, jejím dogmatům a tradicím. Dále se zabývá pojetím křesťanského učení Tolstého a z něj vyplývající idey "neprotivení se zlu násilím". Další část práce se věnuje románu Vzkříšení. Zkoumá, jak jsou hlavní ideová východiska v románu vyjádřena. Analýza textu odráží autorův negativní pohled na soudní systém. Lev Nikolajevič Tolstoj odsuzuje jeho nemorálnost a neefektivnost. Mluví o tom, že má soudní systém rozsáhlé negativní účinky na soudce, advokáty i všechny ostatní účastníky soudních řízení a osob součinných při výkonu trestů. Zákon není podle mínění Tolstého schopen spravedlivě potrestat zločince. Život odsouzených v nápravných zařízeních zcela znemožňuje nápravu. Rozřešení tohoto morálního a sociálního problému je spojeno s myšlenkami obsaženými v Matoušově evangeliu, což je také obsaženo v závěru románu. Dalším cílem práce byla analýza duchovního a morálního vývoje hlavních postav. U Maslovové i Něchljudova byl zjištěn dobrý duchovní stav do společně strávené noci. Typology of the Characters and Their Interpersonal Relationships in A. P. Chekhov's "Cherry Orchardˮ

The bachelor thesis is focused on the typology of characters and their interpersonal relationships in the last Anton Chekhov's drama "Cherry Orchard". The types of characters and their relationships are compared to characters and relationships in other Chekhov's dramas. Furthermore, the work takes into account Chekhov's contribution to the drama in general and it shows how the author perceived space and time which were also represented by the characters themselves. The analysis, compilation and comparison will be used in the processing, the knowledge will be demonstrated on practical examples, which become a part of the theoretical part of the thesis. 1 ABSTRACT In this paper, it will be dealt with the issue of shaping the image of a Russian emigrant in the works of Russian writer Sergej Dovlatov. The aim of the thesis is not only to examine the work of Sergei Dovlatova from the point of view of the writer whose view is unlimited, but also to try to find out the features of images of Russian emigrants using the stylistic and poetic features of his prose. In the theoretical part of the thesis are analyzed the causes of the third wave of emigration, the main representatives and the place of Sergej Dovlatov in the cultural context of the United States for a deeper understanding of the problems of the third wave of Russian emigration. The biography of Sergej Dovlatov is an integral part of the subject's description. A special place is dedicated to studying the artistic originality of the prose S. Dovlatov. The task of the practical part is the selection of artistic and expressive portraits of the Russian emigrant in the works "Inostranka" and "Kufr" and their categorization.
