WINE HOUSE NIKOLSBURG MIKULOV

The topic of this diploma thesis was to design a winery house in the open landscape in a traditional wine landscape of Mikulov. The designed building serves as a four stars hotel with apartment rooms, restaurant, wellness, wine shop and a small wine farm with a storage of wine. There are unique views to the Mikulov city, Turold hill and surounding vineyards. The longitudinal axe is oriented on northeast–southwest. Majority of rooms, terraces and both atriums are directed on prospective axes. The object has one basement and three groundfloors. It is (situated) into the sloping terrain and constrasts with the wavy landscape of Mikulov for its racional and linear conception. It is inspired by terracced formations in near suroundings and uses it for its mass as well. It creates a new landscape dominant that remainds the geological formation of limestone situated in the surroundings of the Mikulov city. The regular rhytm of windows on facade refers to the Mikulov´s renaissance. The regular placement of window openings, and their rhythm are inspirated by Mikulov renaissance. Smaller holes, glass surfaces, light color of facade, green roof and shielding elements prevent from overheating the object during the summer. The water element in the courtyard offers pleasant refreshment for the visitors.

Architectural Study of the Church / Spiritual Center / "Sending the Holy Spirit" in Vinohrady-Brno.

The topic of the bachelor thesis was to design a new building of Descent of the Holy Spirit Church in Brno – Líšeň (housing estate Vinohrady). Firstly, this task has been already solved as part of atelier work focusing on interior. Later, the engineering and construction solution was developed during this thesis. The aim was to design a decent place for celebration the holly Mass and for meeting the parish community, which shows its architectural, constructional, layout and art solution on the spiritual and transcendental aspect of the whole building. The Church is connected with Salesians, operating in Líšeň, which devote themselves to youth. The architecture of building is based on character of sacral and public building, and on bible motives too. The Church reminds a ship, which symbolizes the Church in the world, powered by the Holy Spirit. It shows the vocation of the first disciples – fishermen and worldwide presence of Salesians. The basilical lighting used in the main ship of the church refers to the first Christian buildings – the basilicas. The building is situated in specific environment – housing estate, on the top of the hill. It is divided into one-storey-high main ship based on an elliptic plan (building is two-storey-high in choir), which is rounded by the roof made from glued wooden timbers. Two lower block objects, containing the church facilities (sacristy, chapel, room for parents and children, sanitary facilities, etc.), are adjacent to the main ship. To the object is added the monumental entrance in the place of the main ship and a standalone tower – belfry, which makes the vertical dominant of the landscape. The horizontal axis is oriented in the north-south, the main entrance is situated in the north from the Horníkova street. The church is from the west followed by small square, intended not only for ceremonial processions connected with the religious ceremonies (open air holy masses), but for public use, too. Austria: economic development and integration within the EU

This thesis characterizes the basic macroeconomic indicators of the economy of Austria and its economic development. Generaly I outlined the strengths of the Austrian economy, including the consequences of massive financial crisis. In the introduction I described the general characteristic and economy of Austria and all nine Federal Republics. I defined time periods the economy of Austria, which I generally characterized, with emphasis on the forecast of economic development in 2009 and 2010. The thesis also describes the preparation of Austria to join the European Union with a focus on economic co-operation of Austria and the European Community before its entry into the EU. Also, I attend to the economic development of Austria joining the EU. I deal with foreign trade of Austria with an emphasis on the commodity and territorial structure of exports and imports and the financial sector. The thesis also solves the questions of mutual cooperation of Austria and the Czech Republic.

Hospodářství Rakouska a jeho současná pozice v Evropské unii

V mé bakalářské práci charakterizuji základní ekonomické ukazatele hospodářství Rakouska, a jeho pozici v EU. Po analýze dostupných materiálů jsem obecně nastínila silné stránky rakouského hospodářství, které v současné době ekonomika a hospodářství ČR postrádá. Vytipovala jsem oblasti, které by se v budoucnu mohly reálně implementovat do podmínek ekonomiky a hospodářství ČR. V úvodu jsem popsala obecnou charakteristiku a hospodářství Rakouska včetně všech devíti spolkových zemích. Vymezila jsem časové úseky hospodářství Rakouska, které jsem obecně charakterizovala. V bakalářské práci také řeším otázky zahraničního obchodu Rakouska, jeho obchodní bilanci za posledních pět let a jeho komoditní a teritoriální strukturu včetně vývozu a dovozu. Také řeším otázky obchodní spolupráce Rakouska a ČR.
