Management of Education of Employees in Organisation

This thesis is dedicated to the process of education in a particular organisation. The aim of the thesis is to identify and evaluate the current system of education in surroundings of the particular organisation and in case of deficiencies suggest appropriate project that will lead to improvement. In the theoretical part it is processed the issues of employee education and the other related concepts with the aid of the analysis of secondary sources which comprise the study of the literature and other available materials. The practical part describes the organisation and the process of employee education with the aid of analysis of internal materials. There are also evaluated outcomes of quantitative research with utilization of questionnaire. On the basis of survey results it is suggested to implement a training course in communication skills in the form of e-learning. This course can help to improve the current educational system and employee contentment within the organisation.
Management of Education of Employees in Organisation

This thesis deals with the process of education at the Municipal Police of the Capital City of Prague. This study examines all components of staff training for their professions, including ongoing training programmes for renewal of constable certifications and voluntary courses. The aim of this thesis is to identify and evaluate the current education system, which was set up by the organization, and if there are any deficiencies, to suggest improvements. The theoretical part is written on the basis of the analysis and synthesis of secondary sources of literature. Information for the practical part of the work was obtained from the staff research and internal directives issued by the organization as well. The practical part is also based on the survey of various questions answered by constables throughout the organization, so that it represented the largest sample and the investigation was as objective as possible. The research found out that employees are mostly satisfied with training options and that the organization has a good process of education. Among the negatives are mainly the lack of additional courses for constables; these courses could be useful for their performance of services, for instance the course of first aid or foreign languages.
Methods of Employees Assessment in Selected Organization

The thesis deals with the methods of employees assessment which is the necessary functional part of every company nowadays. The major goal of this thesis is to identify and to evaluate actual methods of employees assessment in Allianz pojišťovna, a. s. [Allianz Insurance Company, joint-stock company]. Furthermore, the next goal is to make a proposal of eventual changes on the basis of founded info. The practical part of the thesis characterises in detail company Allianz pojišťovna, a. s. [Allianz Insurance Company, joint-stock company]. The thesis contains quantitative research consisted of question blank. This question blank had been handed to all employees of Allianz pojišťovna, a. s. [Allianz Insurance Company, joint-stock company], department of liquidation of life and non-life insurance. There is evaluated actual state and satisfaction of employees with methods of assessment, payments and motivation within the scope of 18 questions. Question blank is completed by qualitative research based on structured interview with 5 employees of Allianz pojišťovna, a. s. [Allianz Insurance Company, joint-stock company]. The qualitative research had been done for the purpose of the info completeness. On the basis of results of the research the concepts of changes in the area of methods of assessment, especially in the area of self assessment, whereas new formulary had been offered. Changes in salaries, payments for overtime work and provided bonuses were recommended as well.
Tools of Competitive Advantage in Organisation

The thesis follows up the competitiveness and tools necessary to achieve and maintain the competitiveness of an organization. This topic is currently rather crucial daily reality in the current market, and virtually all organizations were placed in the endless process of efforts for the development and subsequent maintenance of competitive advantages in order to be able to withstand the onslaught of competing companies in a particular market segment, the ongoing changes in the external environment and produce much needed profit, ensuring their continued existence. The aim is to identify ongoing processes in the selected organization, proposing critical success factors and determining the associated priority indicators affecting the competitiveness of the organization. For processing the theoretical part, an analysis of secondary sources was used, consisting of tightly-related publications, technical articles and Internet resources. The practical part of the work was based on an analysis of primary sources, on the qualitative research on the organization Gunnex s. r. o. The original intention to focus attention on the ongoing processes and critical success factors in the selected organization has proved to be beneficial not only for the purposes of this study, but also the organization itself . In collaboration with its leadership, three points were suggested aiming to improve the current position of the organization in an ongoing competition.
The Position of Women in Company Boards

This diploma thesis inspects the position of women in company boards. The gender equality in workplace has been a widely discussed topic during the last several years; nevertheless, the attention paid to women in leading positions remains significantly low, especially in the Czech Republic. The primary objective of this thesis is to identify and evaluate the position of women on company boards, and furthermore, to propose recommendations to ameliorate the discovered deficiencies. The theoretical part is based on the knowledge acquired from the scientific literature. The evaluation of the existing position of women in company boards is deducted from the qualitative research using semi-structured interviews with ten women from top management. These women are challenged by three fundamental barriers: work-life balance, lack of confidence and stereotypes. Due to the extensive scope of this topic, the recommendations shall be applied to three basic levels of authority: state, companies and individuals. The priority shall be put on the capacity of childcare facilities, the family-friendly oriented company policies and the personal development through mentoring and coaching.
Teambuilding in selected organisation

In most operating companies, assignments are becoming increasingly demanding. This trend is gradually leading to the importance of teamwork. Managers who are fully aware of the complexity of this sort of interaction, are now focusing on developing their team and nurturing the relationships between individual members. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the team-building activities at Red Bull, to identify present flaws and to suggest effective solutions. A thorough analysis of literary sources serves as a solid theoretical basis while the quantitative and qualitative research deliver practical results. The questionnaire method and an interview with an employee of the company's human resources department were also conducted. The main findings indicate that Red Bull's team-building program is mostly effective. Activities are organized in a broad range of focus and most employees perceive them as effective entertainment that supports the team spirit. The main recommendation is to improve the way team-building is communicated from the managers to their subordinates. The second recommendation is to train managers in developing effective team-building programs.
Teambuilding in selected organisation

Today, teams are an integral part of almost every organisation. As such, teamwork has become a popular trend in recent years. But in order for a team to operate well, an organisations management must help too. Whether communication needs to be improved in a team, or the performance of employees must be increased, without mutual co-operation organisations cannot expect the best possible results. The objective of this bachelors thesis is to identify and assess teamwork and the use of teambuilding in a chosen organisation. The study involves an analysis of secondary sources and uses a quantitative research method. The studys theoretical section analyses academic literature. The practical section first describes the chosen organisation and subsequently assesses the results of the survey. The study finally ascertains the satisfaction of the organisations employees with team communication, teamwork and the teambuilding activities which the organisation secures. Recommendations are made for the organisation in the form of specific teambuilding activities. Regular get-togethers outside the organisation, or the implementation of outdoor activities can be recommended to the organisation for team development.
Age Management

The concept of age management as a management with regard to the age of employees is due to demographic changes increasingly important topic. Therefore it is necessary the organizations should take care about age management to get by competitive fight and to avoid loosing experienced, qualified and loyal employees. Age management is gaining prominence due to delay founding families, an aging population and the lack of labor force. The basic threatened groups of age management are mainly workers 50+, graduates and ultimately mothers with small children. All these groups of workers require attention and the management of each organization should take care about them. The aim of this work is to identify the pillars of the field of age management as part of human resources management in an organization, including evaluation of their objectives, strategies used within a given area. From a qualitative survey, namely structured interviews with human resources employees and after that with all managers can say that the organization is aware of the risks associated with the employment of graduates and workers 50+ and part of human resources management is to focus on risky groups of employees. The organization is aware of the qualities of its employees and is trying to use their retention of knowledge that human capital brings to achieve competitive advantage.
Leadership in Organisations

This bachelor thesis is focused on the ways of spending leisure time of children and youth. The leisure time is an important part of our lives, and it is need to know, how to effectively spend our time since childhood. The theoretical part delimits the definitions connected with the topic, like youth, leisure time, pedagogy of leisure time, function of leisure time and last but not least, the funding of allowance organizations. The practical part is focused on the one chosen institution providing the different ways of spending the leisure time. This part uses the Bronislaw Malinowski theory which solves whether the institution meets its public mission and targets. This analysis are researching mission, activities, personnel, equipment, facilities and funding. Further, the SWOT analysis illustrates strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The beginning of the thesis presents the history a charachteristics of the institution. In conclusion, the thesis demonstrates the results, ratings and recommendation for improving the organization. The thesis is complemented by attachments including photography from the competitions where the organization annualy take part.
Care for Employees as a Tool of Human Resources Management

Employee care is currently one of the main pillars of every organization. It´s importance is growing mainly in the context of a competition between businesses and a long-term prosperity of the market. Almost every company recognizes the need of effective utilization of human resources, together with the provision of material and financial resources. This bachelor thesis therefore deals with the employee care as a tool for personnel management. The main objective of this thesis is to identify and evaluate the method of security of employee care in the particular organization, company DP WORK, s. r. o. To obtain the information needed to develop this work was analysed literature, legal standards and internal company documents. Results were achieved on the basis of a quantitative survey. There were used methods of interviewing by questionnaire. The main conclusions of the work are that the employee care in DP WORK, s. r. o. operates largely effective. It is based on the value systém of the company and is based on the vision and strategy of the company. Employees would appreciate a new approach from senior executives, based on communication, motivation and general support. The biggest shortage of the employee care is seen in the discrepancy between work and private life, lack of educational opportunities and disparate expectations from both the manager and the employee.
