Abstract The Bachelor thesis describes the preparation and realization of a project that happened during eight drama classes lessons by using methods of drama structuring . These lessons were based on a myth of the Seal woman by Fiona Maclead: Wind and waves and by Clarissa Pinkola Estetes: Women Who Run With the Wolves. The two versions of the same legend are combined with parts written by Scottish playwright Sue Glower from her play The Seal Wife. Lessons have been specially planned for 2nd and 3rd year students of second grade classes at the Art School of Josefa Kresanka in Bratislava. Through the fictional story about a seal woman, Rona, students were introduced to the following themes: freedom, pregnancy, parenting, conflict, decision. This thesis primarily offers the possibility how to work with these themes. It examines how methods of structuring drama can be used when the gender issues are taken into consideration.

Coufalová, Petra ; PROVAZNÍK, Jaroslav (advisor) ; ULRYCHOVÁ, Irina (referee)
The aim of this work is to present contemporary French drama texts for children and youth as a tool of understanding ourselves, others and the world. The ambition of the work is not to compare or evaluate the French approach to dramatic arts in education with the Czech one; it rather describes and shows how it works in France. Thanks to the drama text, which is an indispensable part of the mosaic of many different aspects of cooperation, we can look into an almost organic connection of theatres, publishing houses and schools, where these institutions share one common denominator a child. Therefore, in our work we deal with the history of theatre for children and young people, as well as with the first editions of plays aimed at children audience. Next, we analyze selected works and we discuss examples of possible work with children in schools. For better comprehension, we come with an example of collaboration between artists and teachers in elementary school in Saintry sur Seine, who together with children prepared the performance of a contemporary text. In conclusion, we think about the debate on the theatre for children and young audiences in the Czech Republic and France, which took place during the first festival of French theatre in Prague.

Zelená, Markéta ; MARUŠÁK, Radek (advisor) ; ULRYCHOVÁ, Irina (referee)
This thesis focuses on the genre of fantasy and its potential as a resource in drama education, exploring it both theoretically on basis of academic sources as well as practically by means of several self-constructed individual lesson plans aimed at internal group development. These lesson plans are based on three works of fiction: J. R. R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, or There and Back Again, J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series and N. Gaiman's Stardust. All of the drama lessons presented in the paper are graded according to their target participants' age, difficulty levels of the drama methods they comprise and/or degree of the particular lesson's interconnectedness with the original story. Additionally, each of the lessons is written with different objectives in mind, focusing predominantly on aims within the scope of drama education and personal and social education, as well as those of literature study. The lesson plans were implemented in drama lessons with elementary school pupils of varying ages (6-14 years) and evaluated in the form of detailed written reflections.
