Assessment of the silting streambed river Blata in the village Senice na Hané

Assessment of the status of a watercourse in urban area The thesis is concerned with an appraisal of water channel of Blata in urban area of Senice na Hané, Olomouc region. Solved segment is located in RK 34,600-34,976. The channel is modified to a rectangular profile which is silted. In the thesis the capacity of channel of primal improvement is assessed as well as the capacity of silted channel before depuration in 2012 and appraisal of causes of silting and concept of new arrangements in order to reduce silting process. The appraisal of current state of channel is designed on the base of nonscouring and nonsilting velocity calculation. Results of capacity of channel were calculated in HEC – RAS 4.1.0 program.
Assessment of the capacity of the stream Brušovecký potok in the urban area

The thesis deals with the assessment of the current state of Brušovecký potok riverbed in the urban area of Herálec and its revetment, as well as determining its capacity. Section of interest is located in km 0.000 - 0.3221. Another aim of the thesis is to design adjustments of the Brušovecký potok in order to increase its capacity and provide flood protection to the urban area. Prior to designing the measures the least favorable levels of Brušovecký potok were analyzed. Based on the analysis the type of calculation for designing the measures was chosen. All hydro-mechanical calculations were performed using the HEC-RAS programme version 4.1.0.
Design of a weir structure with movable locking elements

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is the design of the movable barrier structure on the site of the existing fixed weir in the city district of Brno - Husovice on the Svitava River in km 7,820. The first half of the thesis deals with theoretical aspects concerning the design and utilization of weir structures. In the second half of the thesis, theoretical knowledge is applied to practical design of the moving weir structure. First of all, the locality of interest including adjacent objects is positioned and described. Subsequently, a critical evaluation of the scope and quality of input materials is performed. The following is the selection of the appropriate type of substructure construction and movable valve. Based on the chosen type of construction, hydrotechnical calculations are performed, which include partial assessment of weir stability. The thesis also includes drawings and summary description of the designed structure.
Possibilities of banks stabilization of Desná watercourse

The thesis includes the assessment of the current state of the Desná watercourse in the cadastral area of Velké Losiny and the subsequent suggestion of the remediation of two solves sites in the solved area.The river falls under the management of Povodí Morava, s.p. and for the most part it flows through built-up area of Maršíkov. To assess the current state of the river bed, a personal tour of the area of interest was conducted, during which everything was digitally documented. To determine the river bed capacity and calculate the progress of individual levels with the inclusion of all existing objects on the flow in the solved section, the 1D program HEC-RAS was used. Level flow calculation was made for one-year, five-year and capacity flow. Based on the literature search, measures were proposed to remediate bank erosion in locality 1 and locality 2. In these locations, an ideological nature-friendly measures in the river bed were proposed.
Proposal of measures on Hodonínka river

The content of this bachelor's thesis is focused on assessing the condition of the riverbed of a river Hodonínka, which flows through the built-up area of the village of Olešnice, Křtěnov and the vacant area of the village Crhov. The assessment includes an assessment of the current condition of the riverbed and the condition after adjustments with the proposed flood control measures. The proposed modifications are supposed to ensure the protection of parts of municipalities against twenty years of water Q20 = 16,74 m3/s. The section of interest of the stream is located on the river kilometre 13,018 - 14,638 and extends into three cadastral areas. The mathematical model HEC-RAS 5.0.7 is used for hydro-technical calculations, which works in a 1D environment.
Assessment of the water flow in the Morava river basin

The bachelor thesis is focused on the assessment of a part of the stream Romže which is managed by the Povodí Moravy, s. p. The Romže is located in the urban area of the village Držovice. There is a defined area with a potentially significant flood risk. The description of the current condition of the river part is based on the inspection and background materials. The calculations for assessment of channel capacity and the capacity of objects in the location were made by the 1D program HEC-RAS. The individual cross-sections and the N-year flow of the river were put in the program. Based on these results, near-natural flood protection measures for designed channel capacity of the river have been designed.
Proposal of river training of a small watercourse in the basin of the Morava

The thesis is concerned with an appraisal of capacity of channel and design of suitable measures for environmental protection. Solved segment is located in the channel of Český potok in RK 0,000 – 6,366. The channel is flowing through villages of Čelechovice na Hané, Smržice a Držovice in solved segment. Within own solution the locality was divided into three partial sections, which is enabling clearer description of the proposed measures. Flood measures are proposed in several variants for each partial section. Calculations of flow capacity and water surface for the selected N-year flows were performed by using the program of HEC - RAS 4.1.0. Proposed solutions to flood measures are processed in the drawings documentation.
Assessment of the silting streambed river Český potok in the village Čechy pod Kosířem

Bachelor thesis deals with the problematic of clogging the flow of Český potok at village Čechy pod Kosířem. Work assesses the current state of the flow modification made in the 70s of the last century in terms of flow and object capacity and in terms of the state of the riverbed fortification. Thesis also includes the evaluation of the stability of the flow bottom focused on the clogging the flow in the section modified to a rectangular transverse profile. Based on the performed assessment, precautions eliminating the clogging the flow are suggested. Thesis contains drawings of the current state of the water flow and drawings of suggested precautions.
Assessment of status of the watercourse in the basin of the Povodi Dyje

This thesis was aimed at assessing the capacity of the current state of the river Oslavany in the urban area Oslavany. Weighted section is located near the football field and a castle, which was built in 1225 and in case of passing 100 - year flood is the flood area. Assessment of the capacity of the stream was performed using the 1D mathematical program HEC- RAS in which based on oriented transverse profiles and beats in the field, the flow model was developed and assessed for the indi-vidual N-year flows. Based on the results of the program HEC- RAS was conducted conceptual design of flood protection measures in the area of interest.

Design of reconstruction the damaged streambed Rusava in the village Rusava The task of this thesis is to evaluate the existing capacity of the streambed and design the reconstruction of Rusava river km 26,000 to 28,230. Rusava watercourse takes place in urban area of village Rusava in Zlín region. Channel revetment was badly damaged by floods in July 2011. The assessment of the current state of the watercourse was based on personal visit of the place and taken photos. Current state was modeled in HEC – RAS 3.1.3 software. The reconstruction is designed according to the assessment of the current river channel condition and also contains proposals for new buildings on the river.
