Young people with autistic spectrum disorder on online social networks

Online social networking along with computer mediated communication (CMC) has become a crucial part of teenagers' everyday life. Today it is vital to be a member of online peer community in order to stay in touch and maintain friendships. For teenagers with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) social networks are undoubtedly a way to create and maintain friendships without the difficulties that come along with the diagnosis. Autism spectrum disorders affect mainly social competencies, communication skills and imagination. The thesis is focusing on how social networking could help to improve social competencies of teenagers with ASD. In order to examine this topic it is important to focus on the connection between offline and online relationships that teenagers with ASD maintain in their peer group. Therefore a quantitative measurement of loneliness and social dissatisfaction was used in combination with semi-structured interviews covering the topics of relationship with peers, using social networks and internet in general. Results of an ASD group were then compared with a group of a neurotypical control group. French Prints in the Collection of the Bishop's Library in Czech Budweis.

This diploma thesis deals with French written publications from a bishop's library stock. These publications are curently stored in a Section of manuscript and old prints (historical stock) of the Branch of the South Bohemian Scientific Library in Zlatá koruna. The library was founded by Jan Prokop Schaaffgotsche, the first bishop of České Budějovice city, who was active in České Budějovice from 1784 to 1813. Since the book compilation has not been composed yet the aim of the thesis is to present the French written part in a catalogue which helps us characterize French publications with respect to content, origin and genre. The first part is concentrated on the personality of the founder of the library and on the general characteristics of the bishop's library stock. Annotated registers are included in the thesis
Ontogenesis of Art Expression according to Viktor Lowenfeld and the Graphic Activities of Present-day Adolescents

This diploma thesis deals with art creation of adolescents and early adolescents. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part specifies a teen years period including biological and psychological changes and it also specifies the development of teen years. The attention is also focused on the ontogenesis of art demonstration according to C. Burnt´s, H. H. Luquert´s and particularly V Lowenfeld´s stages. The practical part deals with the analysis of collected research material of tenagers between the ages of 11-16 years. The goal of this thesis is to find out if the art demonstration of present-day teen-agers responses to the ontogenesis model which is described by V. Lovenfeld.
Nature and Man in the novel "Devil´s Pool" by George Sand.

The aim of this thesis was to investigate the relation between a villager and nature in the novel The Devil´s Pool by George Sand as well as to explain their mutual attitudes. It determined the role of the nature in The Devil´s pool in the life of the villager. After that , thanks to some specific situations experienced by leading characters, we were shown to what extent nature influences a man and how the man itself respond to this influence. In the first part of my thesis I extensively described George Sand´s biography to emphasize her intellectual interest in various spheres of an artistic and scientific life. In the next chapter I discussed Sand´s relationship to the nature in Nohant to explain author´s creative background and inspiration. The core of the thesis consists of literary analysis of the novel in terms of composition, theme and language. By means of the analysis I tried to determine the above mentioned aim.
The Current Profile of the Adolescent Reader (a regional survey)

Bachelor thesis deals with the current state of pubescent reader ? pupil of the second level of basic school. Theoretical part specifies a pubescent and their biological and psycho-social changes. From the second chapter on the pubescent is featured as a reader with their particularity, needs, motivation for reading, genre preferences and competences in perception of the literature. The aim of the practical part is to record, through the questionnaire results, the current state of interest and school reading of the pubescent readers in Vimperk region in South Bohemia. Other aims specify not only topicality of reading and genres dominant for the pubescent readers nowadays, but also pupil´s favour for literature education and literature as such.

Accounting and its use for the management of contributory organization of the National Park Sumava in the program SEIWIN

The topic of my thesis is bookkeeping of the contribution-based organisation Administration of National Park Šumava in an accounting programme. Accounting represents a system of information including operation of business entity in financial statements, i.e. in monetary units. Accounting should provide an accurate and thorough image of the economical aspect of the business entity, i.e. its real property and financial situation.
