Available financial resources of the company and its evaluation while investing at commodity markets
TRNKA, Jan
The goal of this thesis was to evaluate the trading strategies during the trading in the commodity market. Firstly, this work was focused on providing some basic information about the topic and explanation of several terms which are very important for understanding the whole concept. It should give definitions of words like commodity, financial market or stock exchange. The second part of my bachelor's work describes a technical analysis. Its origin, substance and principles, following by some facts about technical indicators. The third and final part includes a brief introduction of commodities which was chosen by me. Also it contains two simple trade models and mainly an application of selected technical indicators for selected commodities. There were three commodities crude oil Brent, natural gas and heating oil. Also three technical indicators Relative Strength Index, Commodity Channel Index and Sto-chastic. These indicators were used to evaluate results of trading during the years 2010 and the first half of 2013. The objective of this thesis was to find out the result of each trading strategies. There were some intermediate gains but none of these technical indicators ended with a profit.
Behaviour of Selected Varieties of Honey at the Impact Loading
Nedomová, Š. ; Trnka, Jan ; Přidal, A. ; Stoklasová, Pavla ; Buchar, J.
Rheological properties of honey are mainly described by its viscosity. This property is particularly critical during storage, handling and processing. The new method of the evaluation of the mechanical behaviour of honey has been designed. This method is based on the evaluation of the honey response to dynamic loading. Dynamic loading has been realized by fall of bar impact. Response function has been represented by the time history of the honey surface displacement. Response of the tested honey varieties have been evaluated both in the time and frequency domain.
Optimization of secondary school network in the Karlovy Vary region
Procházka, Pavel ; Trnka, Jan (advisor) ; Krpálek, Pavel (referee) ; Jakl, Ladislav (referee)
Doctoral thesis is concerned with broad category of the secondary school system in conditions of floating exteriority and internal environment of high schools in the Karlovy Vary Region Authority. Thesis gives redress to development schools during working prominent factors that are totally objective in view schools' requirements of changes in school network and especially implementation optimalization's institutional concept structure of high schools including optimalization of kinds in education offer on the part of particular schools. Thesis of its content responds to The Concept of Education and the Development of the Education System in the Czech Republic, was launched by Resolution No. 564/1990 on 31 March 2002. Thesis is further based on next accessible documents and analyses checking up on the other Region Authority and on the whole Czech Republic. These include analyse of the The Czech Pedagogic Society, The Council of Higher Educations Institutions, National Programme for the Development of Education in the Czech Republic (White Paper), Council of higher Education Institutions, Institute for the Research and Development of Education of the Fakulty of Education of Charles University attitude and participation in OECD activities in the field of education will be focused especially on projects dealing with schoul education in the future. Authorities appreciate fast acting and it doesn't possible until becoming acute by reason of the demographic decline and untenable cost growth. But today we are missing general method purposeful resolution this challenge. The thesis afford make its ambition on elimination of this problem and at the same time become guideline to opimalization's concepts in network of schools and environments.
School motivation of the Gypsy learners
Krotká, Lenka ; Hadj Moussová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Trnka, Jan (referee)
The aim of the thesis was to analyze and to confirm or to contradict short-term orientation of the Gypsies and through realized research to offer the representation of school motivation of the Gypsy learners. The thesis is divided to four chapters. It contains 2 pictures, 1 map, 2 charts, 30 graphs and 3 supplements. The first chapter contains clarification of theoretical basics of the motivation. In the second chapter the perspective orientation is characterized; its theoretical starting points, characteristics and components. The third chapter deals with Gypsy ethnic-group society and represents the basic view about its history, Gypsy family, education development and about actual level of education. The last chapter, containing research, presents the results of the research and interpretation of obtained indications. This chapter refers clearly a short-term orientation in some issues but also manifestation of perspective orientation of a segment of the respondents in the other issues. It contradicts the hypothesis that Gypsy learners are not interested to study at the University.
Detection of a reinforcing rod and an inner cavity in thick-walled concrete block by laser vibrometry
Trnka, Jan ; Dvořáková, Pavla ; Veselý, Eduard
The report aims to detect artificially made fatigues in a concrete block by impact-echo method. The impact was generated by a steel ball and the response was detected by the laser vibrometer.
Material characterization of polymers (polyurethane, epoxy) by accelorometers and laser vibrometer
Trnka, Jan ; Dvořáková, Pavla ; Veselý, Eduard
The report aims to determine the dynamic characterization of polymers - epoxy and polyurethane. Dynamic transient events were generated both by an acoustic wave and by a steel-ball impact. Miniature accelerometers and a laser vibrometer were used to detect the material's response.
Optical coherent methods for analysing transient responses in agriculture products
Trnka, Jan ; Stoklasová, Pavla
The paper deals with an application of point-wise and full field interferometry methods as double-channel laser vibrometry and double-pulsed holographic interferometry to analyse transient phenomena in eggs, coconuts, peaches and cheses.
Transient Vibration of Thin Rectangular Elastic and Viscoelastic Isotropic and Orthotropic Plate
Soukup, J. ; Trnka, Jan ; Valeš, František ; Volek, J.
The article is a part of the systematic analisys of assumption effects on the transient vibration of isotropic or orhotropic elastic and viscoelastic thin 2D plate. Several deformation models - according to Kirchhoff, Rayleigh, Flügge, Mindlin - were applied. The linear models of material rheologic properties were applied according to Hook, Voigt-Kelvin, Maxwell, Zener models. The results obtained by FEM methods and experiments are mutually compared.
