Removal of burrs during production from flat semi-finished product
Máslo, Jiří ; Trčka, Tomáš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis explains the definition of burr formation in individual methods of machining, there are ale described mothods of deburring, both conventional and many unconvetional methods. A large part of the bachelor’s thesis is focused on the removal of burrs from drilled holes, there are a lot of special deburring tools on offer. Experiment is performed in the last part, in which several manual methods for deburring are tested on simple components.
Hardness measurement of metal materials
Trčka, Tomáš ; Kandus, Bohumil (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The hardness is the mechanical property of each metal material that affects his behaviour. There are many methods of measurement. Each method has its advantages, shortcomings and possibilities of use. The best known tests are according to Brinell, Vickers and Rockwell. The newer methods with portable hardness tester are UCI, TIV and the dynamic method by Leeb. The tests are carried out by mechanical pressure load using the impact body (indenter) of the harder material than the test material. The experimental measurement was executed on the three types of cutting inserts with different nominal hardness made from cemented carbides using the Vickers method with the load of 10 kp and 30 kp. The highest value of hardness was measured on the cutting insert SMG02 - 1988 HV10.
Modern manufacturing trends in chip machining - milling and micromachining
Tkadlec, Jiří ; Trčka, Tomáš (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the research on micro-milling with the aim to specify the latest findings and trends in milling and micro-milling. The introduction consists of the specification of micro-milling and its comparison with conventional milling. The main goal of the thesis is to interpret modern trends in micro-milling technology, such as machine modernization, advanced machining strategies and the latest CAD/CAM software. The second part deals with the influence of cutting parameters on the overall workpiece quality. The final part is devoted to the application and use of micro-milling technology.
Remote fault monitoring system
Jarůšek, Jakub ; Trčka, Tomáš (referee) ; Škarvada, Pavel (advisor)
In practice, optical non-contact measurement of distance and displacement is divided into various methods that use a different parameter of the optical (light) signal. Some methods are explained in the work. The triangulation method is described in more detail. This method is used to measure and monitor the displacement of geological faults. For this monitoring, a low-budget device is designed, which uses lasers and a sensor to determine the displacement of the measured object in a certain time interval. The whole system will serve as verification of data measured by magnetoresistive sensors.
Production of "flange" components on CNC machines
Černý, Marek ; Trčka, Tomáš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the production of flange type components on CNC machines. The flange function in the tank assembly is described here. The work includes choice of material, choice of semifinished product and proposal of machinery for production. Also, there is a technological process and NC programs for various control systems. Finally, a prototype is produced, which is then evaluated.
Design of production technology for the olympic bar
Bělunek, Matěj ; Trčka, Tomáš (referee) ; Varhaník, Matúš (advisor)
Goal of this bachelor thesis is to design production technology for the olympic bar. Two types od manufacturing are proposed, conventional and modernized. Conventional production is cerried out on an universal center lathe, modernization converts production to CNC lathe. The main output, besides the manufacturing design itself, is the comparison and technical-economic evaluation of the production technologies. Thesis includes documentation and technological processes.
Design and manufacture of bending fixture
Ševčík, Jan ; Trčka, Tomáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The work deals with the design and manufacture of bending fixture. It contains a comparsion with current bending fixtures on the market and a justification for the production of a given type. Then the work contains a proposal of the constuction of individual parts with the selection and description of technologies of their production and the process of their production. The work also contains complete drawing ducumentation of all parts of the bending fixture. The conclusion of the work contains the possibilities of design modifications and economic and technological evaluation.
Measurement and checking of dimensions in grinding operations
Kovařík, Michael ; Varhaník, Matúš (referee) ; Trčka, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the topic measurement and checking of dimensions in grinding operations. To introduce the issue there is in the introductory part of the work a brief characteristic and distribution of particular finishing operations. Emphasis is put on grinding that is the main subject of this work. In connection with grinding there are mentioned mainly basic abrasive materials and achieved parameters of ground surface. Then the work focuses on measuring instruments that are used for evaluating surface structure, gauges that are used for measuring and controling longitudinal dimensions and on basic distribution and description of chosen jigs. In another part are introduced conditions for operator qualifications in the are of grinding technology. In conclusion of this work is chosen a component on which is applicated chosen grinding, the solution is analytical. After it follows evaluation.
Implementation of SolidCAM software in an engineering company
Olejníček, Petr ; Trčka, Tomáš (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This Masters thesis examines the production of a revolver frame and the implementation of a new CAM system for the manufacturing process. This thesis contain four parts. The first part is focused on the current manufacturing process. The second part of the thesis consists of a new proposal to use progressive rotary tools and elements of automation for inspection by the Equator Gauging System. The third part proposes a new manufacturing strategy for the revolver frame. At the end of the thesis, the production times of proposed and current technologies are compared.
Turbocodes and their application in telecommunication systems
Trčka, Tomáš ; Křivánek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Němec, Karel (advisor)
This Diploma thesis deals with Turbo code problems. The Turbo codes belong to the group of error correction codes, sometimes referred to as forward error correcting (FEC) codes or channel codes. This thesis can be thematically divided into two basic parts. The first part describes turbo code encoder and decoder block diagram with the illustration of two most frequently used iterative decoding algorithms (SOVA and MAP). The end of this part contains best known turbo codes, which are used in present communication systems. The second part pursues simulation results for the turbo codes using Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK) over Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channels. These simulations were created in the MATLAB/SIMULINK computer program. It will be shown here, that there exist many different parameters, greatly affecting turbo codes performance. Some of these parameters are: number of decoding iterations used, the input data frame length, generating polynoms and RSC encoders constraint lengths, properly designed interleaving block, decoding algorithm used, etc.
