Design of Pendant Lamp
Špačková, Eliška ; Tauber, Jiří (referee) ; Sovják, Richard (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a suspended light and its assessment using the LCA method to minimize the environmental impact, while maintaining the aesthetic qualities and meeting secondary goals. A taxonomy and a design and technical analysis were introduced to organize the findings, using them as a base for the development of a new design solution. All alternative concepts were assessed using the LCA method and one of them was selected based on the critical evaluation. This concept was subsequently optimized, and its material versions were again assessed by LCA method. The final design combines technical and aesthetic characteristics of suspended lighting with sustainable design, a significant trend of the present and the future.

Web-based interface for software project management with emphasis to manpower administration
Täuber, Jiří ; Bureš, Tomáš (advisor) ; Novotný, Miroslav (referee)
There are many different aplications which help with project management nowdays. Project management applications differ considerably in their options, capabilities and most of all in their area of focus. Applications focused on coordinating work of group of people are among them. There are also many webpages that give their users the means to offer or request workforce. It is surprising that nobody has thought about bringing those two ideas together. It offers significant flexibility, especially in the area of software development. Workgroups can be easily created and disbanded as needed. The goal of this project is to create a simple web application which will provide dynamic environment for easy collaboration of many users on many projects. Part of the project will be a very simple project management software focused on manpower administration as well as a place to publish workforce supply and demmand advertisements.

Deployment of Performance Evaluation Tools in Industrial Use Case
Täuber, Jiří ; Tůma, Petr (advisor) ; Šimko, Viliam (referee)
Nowadays software performance is evaluated not only by specialized review companies but it is more and more starting to be a common practice for the software developers themselves. Companies are often forced to develop and maintain their own tools for measuring performance of the developed applications. On the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics there has been created a toolkit for automation of software performance evaluation called BEEN. This toolkit should significantly ease the management of individual performance measurements but it is not possible to test it thoroughly in the environment where it was created. The goal of this thesis is to deploy BEEN in a real environment of commercially oriented company and evaluate the usability of this toolkit for the developers. We will focus on evaluating both objective and subjective positives and drawbacks of this toolkit as observed by unbiased users.
