Family house in a slope

The thesis deals with the design of a new wooden log house serving as family house located in the cadastral area of the Horní Bečva village. House foundation are in slope terrain. It is a stand-alone, two-story design with partial basement designated for a four-member family. The building is divided into 3 parts according to the floors, namely they are 1st floor – living area, 2nd floor - resting area and 1.S - non-residential area. The ground beam foundation type is used. The vertical load-bearings are made of solid wooden logs. The walls are insulated from the interior of the house. The ceiling structure consist of solid wooden beams. The building has a saddle roof with a 45 ° inclination angle and saddle dormers on the north and south side. The main entrance is placed in the northeastern part of the building. The building interior is architecturally designed from natural materials such as stone and wood. Overall, the design has touch of classic log house in combination with modern elements and technologies. The design of the house fits into the landscape environment of the Beskydy Protected Landscape Area and meets the requirements of the given administration.

Producer of a Long-term Observation Documentary Film

This thesis introduces and describes the problematic of the long-term observation documentary films from the producer?s point of view. Further, it presents the history of this type of documentaries in the Czech republic, along with economical aspects of its production and following distribution. The thesis is divided into five parts. The first part focuses on the explanation of the terminology used in this thesis. The second and third part describe the history of Czech documentary film with special regard to the long-term observation documentary film. The key part of this thesis is the fourth one. It contains description of the funding system as well as problems connected with production and exploitation of this particular kind of documentary. The last part examines several case studies that describe concrete issues of concrete long-term observation documentaries.
Czech Film Center in Relationship with APA and other Institutions

This thesis is focused on genesis and function of Czech Film Centre in context with other film institutions. Initial idea of thesis came out of the author´s personal contact with representatives of Asociacion of Producers in Audio-visual and Czech Film Centre. Those meetings were also the main source of information. The goal of the thesis is not only digestedly recapitule the structure of organisations connected with the Centre, but mainly describes activity of the Centre itself so the reader cam make clear idea why and how is the Centre working.
