Design of a railway bridge with an extremely compressed construction height according to MVL 115
Svoboda, Petr ; Šoukalová, Gabriela (referee) ; Kožik, Libor (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was a static and economic comparison of three variants of railway steel bridges with extremely compressed construction height according to the Bridge Model List (MVL) 115. A 3D model was created in RFEM for all variants. The bridge alternatives were evaluated for permanent loads, loads from rail traffic, and other significant loads. The option that came out best in terms of cost was then reassessed in more detail as part of a separate structural calculation.
The Temperature Dependence Of The Specific Conductivity Of Electrolytes for Lithium - ion Batteries
Svoboda, Petr ; Sedlaříková, Marie (referee) ; Máca, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with the measurement of the temperature dependence of the specific conductivity of aprotic electrolytes for lithium - ion batteries. Samples that consisted of a mixture of aprotic solvents and salts with alkaline metals were prepared. Sulfolane in combination with another aprotic solvent was used in a mixture of solvents in all cases. Furthermore this thesis deals with the determination of the apparent activation energy of solvents and mixtures of solvents.
Design of apparatus for testing of bearings
Sovadina, František ; Šperka, Petr (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis an analysis of used test devices for durability of the rolling bearing was performed. This analysis then serves as an inspiration for the reconstruction of the existing bearing test facility at FME BUT. Three conceptual designs have been developed and, after consideration of all aspects, drawing documentation for the final variant has been produced. Its design will lead to space saving in the laboratory and easier handling of test equipment in durability tests.
Design of the device for research on lubrication of gears
Žáček, Jan ; Hartl, Martin (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
The master´s thesis is focused on the design and implementation of the laboratory stand for studying lubrication of gears. Specifically, to assess the effect of lubricant contamination on gears. The device uses the Niemann closed circuit concept which in practice is called „back to back“. Firstly, in the theoretical part, the test circuits uses for testing gears are described and one of the standardized procedure for experimentation is presented. Based on research studies, basic parameters for the design and creation of conceptuals are determined. The practical part consists not only the design of this stend, but also including test run and the description of the procedure on that device. The result of this master´s thesis is the functional experimental device for the future development of intelligent lubrication systems.
Multifunctional building
Svoboda, Petr ; Kalánek, Jiří (referee) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of multifunctional building in Tábor in cadastre unit of Klokoty. It is a detached building with one underground floor and three above-ground floors on a flat terrain. The building is rectangular shape where the underground floor is a collective garage at the ground floor are shops a hairdresser and a café and at the last two floors are office spaces. The building is designed as frame systém with infill ceramic masonry with additional insulation. The roof is designed as a flat roof.
Design of experimental device for visualization of axial forces in bolted connections
Ptáček, Tomáš ; Galas, Radovan (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
In the bachelor's thesis is created design experimental device that will be able to measure preload in bolted joints. The first part of thesis deals with research study of the current state of knowledge of bolted joints, depending on the use of different types of lubricants. According to informations, 3 different variants are introduced. The selected variant is described in detail with their advatnages and disadvantages. The final design is developed into technical drawing and electronic 3D models.
Design of linear clock controlled by Arduino Uno
Hladík, Ondřej ; Strecker, Zbyněk (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with designing and realization of functional sample of linear clock with analog scale using 3D printing. Firstly, the structural arrangement of available devices and the selection of usable electronic components are solved based on the required parameters. After that, the work contains a design solution of printed parts, where the linear motion mechanism is designed as a rack and pinion and the feed of scales is solved using a sliding linear guide. The work includes a wiring diagram of used electronic parts. The Arduino Uno board takes care of the clock control, for which a program was created according to the required properties. In the end, the functionality on the created sample was verified. The work is accompanied by assembly drawings and drawings of the main parts and the complete program.
Auxiliary Output to Text-Based Display for Console Applications Running at Personal Computers with Windows Operating System
Svoboda, Petr ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
This Bachelor´s thesis deals with a design and realization of compact module with a single-chip microcontroller and graphics LCD display as alternative display equipment for embedded computer, in which a video card and VGA or an another high resolution display is not necessary or acceptable. The realized module receives data from text output of any application running on personal computer via universal serial bus or RS232 interface. Then the received data are displayed in the LCD and saved into temporary memory of the microcontroller. The module can be supplied using USB interface or power supply of the computer.
Design of a desk coin sorting machine
Uhrová, Simona ; Čípek, Pavel (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis demonstrates the design concept of a low cost electromechanically driven coin sorter that can be created by the utilization of additive manufacturing, specifically 3D printing. Technical drawing documentation of the chosen design concept is then provided as well as insight into the 3D printing process. In the conclusion, the working model of the coin sorter is created, and an analysis is offered of potential problematic areas as well as possible improvements and extensions.
Device for grouting of two-component building materials
Zindulka, Martin ; Skřivánková, Vendula (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor‘s thesis is design of a device for grouting of two-component building materials, which can be used for height work. The device is design as portable and powered by cordless drill. The first part contains a summary of current devices which are available. The second part is focused on description of parameters and final design of the device.
