Load carrying structure of a riding hall

The aim of this thesis is the design and assessment of the load carrying structure of a riding hall in Třebechovice pod Orebem. It is a rectangular hall with dimension of 36 meters x 72 meters with a gabled roof that will be utilized for dressage and equestrian competitions. Hall dimension is determined by the riding area 25 meters x 60 meters,by the safety clearances and grandstand for spectators. The load carrying structure is made up of thirteen crosslinks by six meters of solid-columns and lattice trusses connected by purlins. The spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured by the bracings system.

This thesis deals with design of steel structure multi-storey garage. It is the six-storey steel structure of rectangular plan with dimensions of 35,2 x 83,2 m and a height of 18,5 meters. The structure is designed for the site Brno. Static calculation is solved by a combination of manual calculation and calculation using software Scia engineer. There are the following main load bearing structural elements designed and examined in the structural analysis: truss, purlin, bracing, column, composite beam, joints, foot and anchoring. Load-bearing timber structure of a storey house

The subject of my bachelor´s thesis is design and static assessment of timber load-bearing structure of a storey house. The object has three floors - first floor, the second floor and attic. The dimensions of ground plans is 14,7 x11,1 meters and the house is 11 meters high. The frame load-bearing structure off wall is formed by wall panels where joist are stored. The truss is designed as a system of purlins. The building is located in Slavkov u Brna climatic loads are solved for this location.

The Bachelor’s thesis describes the design and check of the construction of a tennis hall. I have chosen the design of glued laminated timber in combination with solid timber. The plan dimensions of the hall are 23.275 x 67.375 m. The work includes by a technical report, a design calculation, a statement of material and design documentation. Next, the work deals with a special wall system.

The bachelor´s thesis deals with the design and the assessment of the wooden roof structure above the guest house in Karlov pod Pradědem, Jeseniky, at an altitude of 725 metres above sea level. The object has plan of the cross-shaped object about the approximate dimensions 13x20 m. On the first floor is brick. The second floor is made of wooden circular profiles – log cabin. The attic is habitable rooms, and I had to consider in the design of roofing. The roof structure is designed as a pair of intersecting each other pitched roofs. The emphasis is on the use of circular sections, to the roof of the extension on the bottom of the building, which is also from the circular profiles.
Timber load bearing structure of a hotel building

The bachelor’s thesis deals with the design and assessment of the timber load bearing structure of a hotel building in Kouty nad Desnou, Jeseníky, at an altitude of 606 metres above sea level. The object has a rectangular shape with dimensions approximately 36x16m. The lower part of the structure is designed as a two-floor heavy frame and an attic. The columns are designed as swinging angles, and stiffening is solved by a set of bracings and struts. The roofing of the object is solved by purlin truss system with a triple vertical stool. The emphasis is placed on the use of commercially available timber beams. The sheathing of the structure will be solved by Fermacell gypsum boards.

This work describe the design of a multifunctional sport hall. Ground plan dimension of the hall is 55,4 x 58,16 m. Height of the hall is 16,065 m. This sports hall is designed for the free time activity and sports like badminton, basketball, futsal, football, handball, wheeled, tennis, volleyball and more. Construction of the hall is designed on the basis of the city Brnos background. A structure of the hall is ached and made of glued laminated timber.The hall is formed by cross-binding- double joint arc- shaped to ellipse. The distance between each cross-binding is 5m. Arches are connected by purlins. The stability of the structure is composed by three fields bracing.

Bachelor's thesis solves the design and assessment of the load bearing structure of multipurpose hall. The building is designed as a single-storey, octagonal plan, with a shed roof. Construction of the hall consists of a set of frames. The supporting structure is designed in two versions - three-hinged frames with curved corners or as two-hinged frame with a large finger joint. The three-hinged frame option is solved in detail.

This thesis deals with the design of the construction of multi-funcion sports hall. Hall ground plan dimensions are 36 x 48 m. Height of the hall is 18 m. Sports hall is designed for common sports as handball, football, tennis, volleyball, basketball etc. Construction is designed in the Šumperk locality. It is a curved construction of glued laminated timber. The hall is made of cross- binding - triple joint arches in the shape of circle. Individual cross-binding are distanced 4 m. Arcs are connected by purlins. The stability of the whole construction is toughened by four areas.

Plan dimensions of the hall are 26,5 m x 45 m and variable height.The structure is designed for the České Budějovice. Carrier enclosure is designed from the glued laminated wood with axial distance of 3 m Purlins are designed as simple beams with axial distance of 2,5 m and PUR sheathing panels are used. Articulated connection is made with steel pivotal connections.
