Barbora Sokolová Allergic diathesis (Diploma Thesis) Charles Univerzity in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Study Programme : Pharmacy Aim of Work: The objective of this thesis was to confirm and/or evaluate known risk factors leading to an allergic indisposal. Methods: Statistical reprocessing of the data reached by the 2005 questionnaire. The questionnaire was focused on the incidence of allergies in children born between 1992-3. Results: Statistically significant results were observed in groups concerning: vomitting during pregnancy (esp. children born between the fall 1992 and the beginning of 1993); the firts-born and/or only-born children; mothers with significantly reduced weight, risk-pregnancy lasting for more than 7 months and very low physical activity during pregnancy. Protective effects showed the children being born as higher number among larger number of children as well as non-altered physical activity of the mother during pregnancy. It has been also concluded that the mother's BMI corresponds to the lenght of breast- feeding and the child's BMI respectively. Conclusions: Vomitting during pregnancy as well as mother's BMI and/or longterm risk-pregnancy can be considered as a risk-factor for an allergy incidence. Ecological organisations as forest owners – analysis of a contemporary state in the Czech Republic

Bachelor thesis Environmental organizations such as forest owners Analysis of the current situation in the Czech Republic deals with issues of forest owners, whose aim is often the mere nature protection. In the Czech Republic the issue of this protection of the nature lay mainly with landtrusts. The thesis aims to explore these subjects to determine the quantitative characteristics of new forest owners and focuses on objective analysis around the management of forest ecosystems. The theoretical part deals with new owners in neighbouring countries and in the Czech Republic. In addition, the thesis states how legislation affects forest owners activities in the Czech republic. The following chapter on landtrusts, which analyses how these associations were established, what is their purpose and current standing in the Czech Republic. A survey about landtrusts activities in terms of environmental protections is provided in the practical part. At the end of the thesis is a comparison between findings acquired from neighbouring countries and data summary gathered from landtrusts in the Czech Rep.

Safety and sustainable European´s Union energy policy

The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of safety and sustainability of EU's energy policy. It analyses the development of the EU energy policy, main energetic determinants and important players on the field of world economy and it tries to show its influence on the current situation. The aim of the thesis is to point out whether the current energy policy is safe and sustainable and it tries to determine possible future development.
