Finanční analýza vybraného podniku a jeho dopad na region

The topic of this bachelor thesis is "Financial analysis of the selected company and its impact on the region". It is focused on the evaluation of the financial situation of the company PBS Turbo s.r.o. and its impact on the region in which it is located. The thesis is divided into two parts, namely the literature research and the actual results. In the literature research is described the concept of financial analysis. The next part of this thesis is the actual results, where the characteristics of PBS Turbo s.r.o. are first described, followed by the calculations of the individual financial analysis ratios. Furthermore, the impact of the selected company on the region is evaluated.

1 Religious dualism in Anglo-Saxon Poetry: Pagan and Christian Motifs in Selected Old English Poems Abstract This bachelor's thesis focuses on Christian and pagan motifs in Anglo-Saxon poetry. Central texts for the analysis of these motifs include three Old English poems: The Dream of the Rood, The Seafarer and The Wanderer. The objective of the thesis is to illustrate various features of Christian mythology in the context of their historical and social background in selected Old English works, and to compare their composition, genre and the role of a Christian hero.
Comparison of experience of men and women participants of the Czech local politics from the gender perspective

Although the representation of women in terms of the Czech local politics is higher than on regional and state level, still their total number does not reach the participation of men by far. In addition, women are more present on lower decision-making positions of local politics. It is possible to say that women are disadvantaged by the current political and social environment. The qualitative research used in the present paper focuses itself on the reflections of male and female politicians regarding their participation in local politics, whereas their consensus and differences in opinions are monitored especially in regards to such topics as mandatory gender quotas, position of men and women in the local politics, discrimination, and distribution of political agenda as per gender. It has been demonstrated that "the second shift" is the most important factor in the eyes of both male and female politicians, making the involvement of women in the local politics much more difficult. Stereotyped statements of politicians of both genders illustrate the image of the local politics as a significantly male dominated enviroment, where a woman can prove herself only after winning the imaginary battle with the whole system (and after overcoming the intra-party barriers) and for the price of a demanding...
The Monastery of Svatá Dobrotivá

The author will deal with the building history and the description of architecture of the Augustinian monastery of St. Dobrotivá with the Church of the Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Dobrotivá in Zaječov. Furthermore will be the author focused on history of the sacred building, especially from the epoch of foundation through plundering during the Hussite wars and subsequent effort to reconstruct this building in the end of the 15th century, repeated decline of architecture in the 16th century to resurrection in the epoch after the Battle of White Mountain. The text will also deal with the not very well known cult of St. Benigna, whose relics were transported to the monastery from Rome. The next focal point of this work will be the sculpture of St. Dobrotivá, which was used as a reliquary of relics and is currently on loan in the National Gallery in Prague. Last but not least the author will focus on analysis of the moveable art of the church. This moveable art comes from the 18th and partly from the 19th century and consists of hanging paintings and altars. In the church there are also paintings from J. P. Molitor and J. Matthauser. The purpose of this work is to point out the existence of the monastery itself. Apart from the history of the monastery the author would like to summarize the current research of a not very well known saint and to explore the existing movable art in the monastery temple.

The Role of Russia in the Czech Political Context according to K. H. Borovský and T. G. Masaryk

The role of Russia in the European context underwent a very interesting development from the 19th century onwards. The Czech political elite's attitude towards Russia is very interesting as it kept changing from the 19th to the 20th century. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe the different tendencies towards the role of Russia in the Czech political context. This thesis focuses on the role of Russia in the works of Karel Havlíček Borovský and Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk. Other significant politicians will be mentioned as well, such as František Palacký or Karel Kramář, with a special focus on their attitudes towards the role of Russia in the Czech political context.
