Analysis of the cost of housing soldiers from the profession in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with housing costs and commuting of professional soldiers of the Army of the Czech Republic. It analyzes not only the cost of housing and commuting , but also the subjective perception of the burden on individual households of soldiers. The sample was analyzed for the entire Army of the Czech Republic , which were represented by soldiers from various units and garrison towns across the Czech Republic . For the final analysis were used data gathered by a questionnaire and also was used secondary data analysis . The result was , among other things , to determine what strategies are used by soldiers to provide their housing and commuting . Philosophical Expression of Cathedrals by Bc. Martin Slavík The dissertation is devoted to the topic of the sacral gothic architecture, namely the construction of medieval cathedrals, in which architecture seeks the deeper philosophical and theological context of the period spirituality, cosmology and the perception of correspondences of man and the world. The research dives in sacred geometry and architecture of the golden number that corresponds to the Pythagorean mysticism of numbers. The work is based on a broad theoretical base, which includes philosophy, theology, psychology ( especially Jung and by him affected the current archetypal psychology, further daseinpsychology and psychological sphere influenced by philosophical reference of Martin Heidegger ). The work is multidisciplinary, although its centerpiece are always cathedrals in the context of the medieval world. The work also mentions specific status of the cathedral in a broad spectrum of sacral architecture and on this basis reveals the spiritual interconnection of medieval and ancient world. Permeability of natural surfaces of Hruba Skala sandstone in rock cities for water vapour and intensity of evaporation

Aim of this study was to describe capillary water and vapor transport in shallow subsurface of Hrubá Skála sandstone in the Bohemian Paradise. I have quantified permeability of Hrubá Skála sandstone for water vapor using "wet cup" method and also capillary water absorption of sandstone drill cores. I have found out general rules of evaporation and rate of evaporation from several sandstone outcrops in real microclimate. Important part of my work was to determine whether surface crust plays some role in studied parameters. Based on my results, permeability of different types of sandstones for water vapor does not vary significantly and surface crust has no effect on rate of water vapor diffusion. Rate of capillary water absorption is reduced by surface crust. Hrubá Skála sandstone is classified as medium or highly absorbing material. I have proved that evaporation from porous medium can be approximated by exponential function. Rate of evaporation is strongly controlled by climatic conditions, especially by relative humidity. Origin of karst conduits and caves in Jizera Formation in Turnov.

Aim of this study is to characterize the processes responsible for evolution of open conduits and caves in Jizera Formation near Turnov, in particular to distinguish if the main factor acting in enlargements of conduits is dissolution and the conduit system can be called karst, or if the process is caused by erosion of weakly cemented sandstone without contribution of dissolution. An important part of the study is to introduce the concept of self-organization. Based on results from accelerated simulation of dissolution of twenty rock samples, SEM analysis and drilling resistance, I have proved that rocks in Jizera Formation near Turnov dissolve in an acidic environment and their strength characteristics does not enable direct erosion by flowing water. Samples from localities of "Bartošova pec", "Slepé údolí Podhorčí", "Rozsedlinové ponory pod Drábovnou", "Šetřilovsko", "U Kačeny" and "Semikraska" dissolve, but behavior of samples from "Sudoměř - rybník" and "Sudoměř - Skalský potok" is in an acidic environment very similar to samples from Teplice Formation "Skalní pískovcový výchoz u Podhorčí" and "Valdštejn".

Serious games and their Possible Use in Teaching and Learning

Diploma thesis "Serious games and their possible use in teaching and learning" describes the so-called "serious games" and evaluates the potential of teaching and learning with regards to the current educational and information needs. This thesis originated in 2010 and especially the research case studies, Simon E. Nielsen, Vit Šisler, Cyril Brom, and user testing of educational games such as Europe in 2045 and his active participation in the workshop devoted Enter3 serious games, where the author participated in the creation of several "serious" modules the game Unreal Tournament. At the beginning author describes the methodological apparatus of the thesis with the focus on the theoretical aspects and the research of computer games as a scientific field called game studies. The second part deals with the development and current form of computer games. Furthermore, the author attempts a breakdown and categorization of "serious games" in compliance with the genre or centred on their influance on the key groups (students, employees). He also wants to find an answer to the question "why we play the games" or what makes the games serious. The growth of Lodgepole Pine (Pinus contorta) in reclaimed spoil banks

This diploma thesis deals with the detection of the dynamics of the growth and development of lodgepole pine, which is intended for the purposes of the forestry reclamation on anthropogenic soils spoil banks. In the first stage it is approached the issue of growth and development of woody plants on spoil banks. Are described recent formations, their cutting and editing, further forestry reclamation and associated issues, on which follows the description of the entitlements of tree species in different territories, further criteria necessary for the correct evaluation of the conditions on the habitats directive and appropriate ways of establishing the stands. Subsequently, we approached lodgepole pine, its description, extension, variability, etc. In the second part of the thesis is studied and evaluated growth of lodgepole pine. The first is characterized by the interest of the territory and its natural conditions. On the plots in the forestry arboretum on the spout Antonin samples were taken in the form of stem discs, which served as the basis for determining the necessary values. Economic and ecological evaluation of introduced tree species on the territory of Arboles Ltd.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the economic and environmental evaluation of introduced woody species on the territory of the Arboles s.r.o. company. The evaluation is related to introduced species of Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii (Mirb. / Franco) and red oak (Quercus rubra L.), both of which are compared with the growth of indigenous species: Norway spruce (Picea abies /L./ Karsten) and English oak (Quercus robur L.). For this purpose information from the Forest Office as well as data from representative areas are used. Ecological requirements of species and their impact on the environment are monitored in representative areas as well. The key indicators are: the growth rate, the quality of the litter, the demands on nutrients uptake. Economic evaluation focuses then on benefits and eventually on losses at silvicultural treatments application and wood selling. The aim of this thesis is to compare the introduced and indigenous woody species in all the aspects named above and to define pros and cons of planting of introduced woody species including other possibilities of their exploitation.

The Study of Production's Operation Management

In my diploma thesis I have focused on the optimization of ‘Production Operational Management’ in terms of change management and work organization in the department of thermo case and pre-production within the company Automotive Lighting, s.r.o. which is a producer of automobile light technique. The intention of the first part is to produce general characteristics of the company. The analysis of the current stage results from the production system and the organizational structure particularly in the pre-production department of thermo cases. Based on this analysis I have designed the proposal so that it consists of a new organizational structure and a new work organization with a view to customer satisfaction within a demanding product while taking into consideration quality and time. In the final part of this thesis I have looked at the contribution and feasibility conditions of the output proposal.
