Municipal self-government in the Czech Republic (illustrated on the example of Kralupy nad Vltavou City)

The main goal of this thesis named Municipal self-government in the Czech Republic (illustrated on the example of Kralupy nad Vltavou City) is to process and summarize the framework of municipal function in both theoretical and practical way. Also, it is shown how to use the knowledge for didactic purposes. Therefore the thesis is divided into the theoretical, practical and didactic part. The theory answers the questions such as What is self-government? By whom is it executed and where? How is it controlled? The practical part continuously uses collected information and shows how each of self-government aspects works in concrete example of Kralupy nad Vltavou City. The third part is focused on how to apply this issue in teacher training.
Protection of human rights, educated/developed society and the relations betwwen them

This thesis defines and describes the evolution of human rights in society and its meaning. It indicates the importance of education, both general level of education of the society and education specific to the human rights. "Maturity of the human society is measured with human rights. Compliance and enforcement of human rights determine the level of democratization of the society, legally consistent state and welfare of the individual". This thesis further deals with the challenges and competition for university level education which is in high demand in the employment market. Those challenges are described from a historical, legal, and economic view and a possible solution is presented. One part of this thesis is a didactic view with an introduction to "Framework education programs".
State supremacy in connection of the European law

The master's degree thesis focuses on the issue of transition in understanding the term "state sovereignty", influenced throughout the last decades by the continual deepening of integration processes on the European continent, which are shielded on the European Union platform. The thesis ought to serve primarily the students of education schools and the social sciences teachers at high schools as a tool for comprehending the complex matter of European integration and its influence on the nature of the member states. It points out how the role of state, state symbols and mainly the state's substantial component, its sovereignty, change under the influence of the mentioned tendencies. The topic is approached in the context of international, mainly European law, therefore the analysis of the European Union is included, in terms of its genesis, the structure of its legal order and the European institutions. The role of the Czech Republic in this process is described as well, and the same applies to necessary changes, especially of constitutional character, that must have been carried out by the Czech Republic in order to be prepared for fulfilling its obligations, resulting from the European Union membership. Freedom of speech and racial extremism

Apart from the basic definitions used in the paper, the main objective of this bachelor thesis is especially mutual correlation of freedom of speech as the one of basic human rights and race extremism which is undesirable phenomenon in mature society. The first section is devoted to definition of term "freedom of speech" by means of legal regulation included both in Declaration of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms and international agreements. To specify freedom of speech exactly, it is necessary to consider its limitation in a series of documents which are also mentioned in the introductory section. The second section of the thesis is focused on the definition of another significant term often used in the thesis - race extremism. A part of this section is a smaller sub-section containing one of many cases of race attacks. The main reason for choosing this case was personal participation of the author of this thesis in the attack. The main objective of this sub-section is not only presentation of the actual case but application of theoretical knowledge in this concrete case. No other cases were chosen so that the thesis did not receive any unwanted causative contents. Discriminating and positive discriminating aspect in realization of human rights guarantees This work disserts of discriminating and positive discriminating aspect in realization of human rights guarantees. First chapter is a general introduction of human rights - inclusive of their characteristics, classification and essential attributes. Second chapter about history analyses evolution of human right from antique to present - above all question equal and unequal treatments. Central chapter this work is about discriminating Laws - first o of all about a new antidiscriminating Act in Czech Republic. Further expound terms such as direct discrimination, indirect discrimination and generally discrimination individual because their racial and ethnic, age, sex and gender, caste, religion, language, sexual orientation, disability. Next interprets a reverse discrimination or too opinion of political ideology etc. Last chapter includes guarantee protection of human rights - i.e. international, European, national realization of prohibition discrimination and enforcement of equal and unequal treatments. Protection of basic Human Rights in the African System (Zimbabwe) - and its Comparison with the Continental legal system

The diploma thesis in question attempts to map the African regional system of human rights protection, its basic elements, central institutions and the results of their cooperation. The work aims to find out whether the current set-up is capable of ensuring an effective protection of human rights of the African citizens. The first part of the thesis focuses at the definition of human rights in their historical and conceptual context. For the needs of the comparative analysis, a part dealing with the protection of human rights in the continental legal system follows, together with a suggestion of the "superstructural" options that the citizens of the member states of the European Union have disposal of. The African legal system as the guiding line of the thesis is applied on the case of Zimbabwe. This is where practice shows that despite the existence of a formally existing system under the African union and its institutions, the African region is facing serious human rights violations for which there is no sufficient safeguard. The thesis concludes with the provision of a generalizing comparison of the two regional mechanisms of human rights protection and the application of this area of study in the sphere of education and teaching practice.

At the very beginning it defines regulation and its influence within the framework of jurisprudence in the form of normative regulation. Therefore the dissertation deals with the term of legal standard, its structure and the types of legal norms. It indicates normative regulation in practice, thus in selected laws. Thereafter it performs classification of normative instruments in education, which is made on the basis of law sources difference. The end of this thesis is dedicated to normative regulation of the educational system, which is illustrated by selected documents. Several parts of Constitution of Canada and Constitution of Czech republic are compared in this work - legislative power, Charters of Rights and Freedoms and conditions for constitutional amendments. Authorial translation of Constitution of Canada (never translated to Czech before) is a part of the work. There's an introduction to the theme and a brief history of Canada and both Constitutions in the work as well. The work tries to show some legal problems of Canada to Czech people.
