Energy efficient building with a dental office

The aim of my master’s project is to design a nearly zero-energy dental clinic. The whole thesis is divided into three parts. The first part aims to architectural and structural design of the building. The building is single storey. The exterior load-bearing walls are designed from ceramic blocks with thermal insulation, the roof is designed from cast-in-placed concrete roof slab and an extensive green roof. The foundations of the building are made of concrete strips. The dental clinic consists of six dental offices for dentists, two other offices, a waiting room for patients, a staff facility room, a utility rooms and public toilets. The second part aims to design the technical equipment of the building such as interior lighting with sunlight shading, rainwater usage for watering greenery and toilet flushing, photovoltaic panels, a heating pump for heating and cooling and air-condition system with heat recovery. The third part focuses on air-condition filters. I measure pressure losses and extraction efficiency.
Energy-efficient building of a sports hall in the city of Brno

The aim of the master’s project is to design a new complex that will respect the social needs of the local community, the values of the territory, the configuration of the terrain, the principles of nature protection, the existing development and will be adequately connected to the transport and technical infrastructure. The work is divided into 3 parts. Part of the building construction, part of the technical equipment of the building and an optional part calculation. In the third part, the measurement of the solar ventilation system and the possibility of its use in the proposed building are processed. The vertical load-bearing structures are designed from ceramic blocks and reinforced concrete framework. The horizontal load-bearing structures are designed from prefabricated reinforced concrete parts. The flat roof consists of a flat vegetation roof with waterproofing of asphalt strips. The heating of the building will be provided by a ground/water heat pump. Forced ventilation with two air conditioning units. Cooling will be designed in the gym, yoga room and main entrance. Solar panels will also be designed. There will also be an outdoor parking lot and a football pitch on the territory. The project and visualizations were carried out in AutoCAD and Revit programmer.
Energy use of the facade

The main motive of this master's thesis is expanding awareness of ventilated facades and their use and comparison with external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS). I mention this in theoretical research. As an expansion to theory and a key theme of this thesis is a description of individual physical events present on the facade and in it's ventilated gap based on data output from measurement. The data gathering was made by a group of professionals who have done an on-point facade measurement on a real ventilated facade throughout a year - more detail in text. I personally have been a part of a research team and I describe my work and research in detail in the third part of this master's thesis - experimental part. In practical part I devote myself to use our new knowledge on a given building. More precisely - I use numerical calculations to present energy use of of given facade in comparison with ETICS on the same building with the same boundary conditions.
Air conditioning of office building

The aim of the work entitled "Air conditioning of the administrative building" was to create a proposal for the profession of air conditioning on the 10th floor of the building located in Prague. These are primary air handling units serving two fun-ctional units, which include offices, open space and sanitary facilities. The work is divided into three individual parts - theoretical, computational and project part. The theoretical part deals with the quality of indoor air and the effect of carbon dioxide on humans. The computational part of the work is focused on individual calcula-tions, which are interconnected with the profession of air conditioning. Several de-sign softwares, especially LindQST and AeroCAD, are used. The project processes project documentation to the specified extent. In addition to the mandatory part of the graphic outputs, this part also processes the optional part - the BIM model, en-closed in the IFC format. This model adds value to the project in several ways, one of the most important of which is the possibility of simple and precise coordination with other professions.
Air conditioning in the wellness-center

Bachelor thesis deals with the design of air conditioning equipment for the Wellness-center at pension in Malenovice. The thesis is divided into 3 parts. In the first of them, the thesis work deals with the theorical part. The theory is focused on the division of atmospheric air filters info different categories, pocket filters and their types of media and design. At the end, the theoretical part deals with the mechanism od filtration, separation, filtration efficiency and pressure losses. The second part of this bachelor thesis is mainly about the design of the air handling unit. There are three units designed for a building. Unit no. 1 is for a wellness, unit no. 2 for sanitary facilities and unit no. 3 for the fitness. The thesis deals with the transport of fresh air to the interion of selected rooms and coverage of water gains from whirlpools, humidity adjustment, heat gains during the summer and heat losses in the winter. The last part deals with project documentation.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the explanation of the problems of air conditioning and the design of air conditioning units in a civil engineering building, more precisely in the pension. the work is divided into three parts. The first part deals with theory. It focuses on the principles, systems and types of air conditioning equipment. The second part is focused on the design of air conditioning units in the pension, there are three separate devices with a common drain to the exterior from the air conditioning engine room. The third part deals with project documentation.

The bachelor thesis aims to design an air conditioning system in the indoor sports field. The theoretical part of the work focuses on the principle and distribution of air in the room. The work describes several types of distribution protozoa. The result of the calculation part is the design of optimal air conditioning systems, which will ensure thermal comfort in the building for the visitors of the facility throughout the year.

The bachelor thesis consists of three parts namely the theoretical, computational and project part. The theoretical part is focused on the solution of air distribution in large hall buildings. In the calculation part, two air handling units are considered. The first air-conditioning unit is used for hot air heating and air conditioning of the gym. The second unit is designed for forced ventilation of the gym.
