Rambousková, Michaela ; Skalecká, Veronika (advisor) ; Bednařík, Petr (referee)
The bachelor thesis "November 1989 events in the perspective of Hradec Králové region media" deals with the attitude of the Czechoslovakian Broadcasting channel and the regional daily newspaper Pochodeň about the events happened from November 17, 1989 untill the end of the 1989. The author has chosen this topic because she works as a journalist in Hradec Králové region herself, and she has been in touch with witnesses of the events. Their memory is still alive and they are able to provide valuable testimony about Hradec Kralove media of the past. Media attitude of this region to the November 1989 events was never analyzed in depth. The thesis aims to track the change of opinion that happened within these media outlets. The interviews with former journalists, Milan Dus from the Czechoslovakian Broadcasting channel and Bohumil Ulrich from the daily newspaper Pochodeň, make a relevant part of this thesis. The analysis of above mentioned materials allows for a full account of how media portrayed the November 1989 events.
Cybersourcing in the region of Hradec Králové
Rambousková, Michaela ; Osvaldová, Barbora (advisor) ; Jirků, Jan (referee)
The reason for creating this thesis was my own journalistic work in MF DNES newspaper in Královéhradecký region between 2010 and 2017. As a social networks user I found I use those networks as a tool for my work. I analyzed hundreds of contents of six regional media in Královéhradecký region: the newspapers Deník, MF DNES and Právo, the czech television broadcaster "Česká televize", the czech broadcasting service "Český rozhlas" and the press agency "ČTK". The answer for the question "how regional journalists use social networks as Facebook or Twitter" was that in print media (Deník and MF DNES) they used social networks more in 2016 than in 2010. They are sourcing it both ways - inspiration for the content topic and also as a source of peoples citation. On the other hand, the public service media (Česká televize and Český rozhlas) had only a minimal use of social networks in creating their content. But in case of print media the analysis confirmed, that social networks are becoming an inseparable part of journalistic work.
