Klíčová slova: střelba, libovolná pistole, svalová nerovnováha, stabilita, jednostranná zátěž
Passive and active safety of personal cars
Petrtýl, Václav ; Růžička, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with passive and active safety of personal cars. The aim of this work is to give a comprehensive overview of the car safety elements. The first chapter is dedicated to the history - the development of automotive safety. Further there is a detailed description of the passive car safety - seat belts, airbags, chassis, and the active car safety - ABS, ASR, ESP, etc. A separate chapter consists of child safety seats - their issue and division.
The machinery for open air space and building maintenance
Nováček, Jan ; Dvořák, František (advisor) ; Růžička, Miroslav (referee)
This bachelor thesis has mainly an analytical character and summarizes the results of an extensive survey of the market made by author. Its aim is to provide an overview of the machines mostly used for the maintenance of the free areas and objects and to briefly describe the activities and works performed by them. Further the machines for the maintenance of the airports surfaces, sporting grounds, green belts and objects are described. First part of the thesis describes the analysis of the activities carried out during this maintenance, whereas in the second one the author pays attention to the typical examples of the machines and appliances used for this maintenance, to their technical parameters and use values. The third part deals with the assessment of the machines from various aspects, the procedures for an expert evaluation of the machines are designed and the expected trends of the future development outlined
Assessment of Transportation Accessibility in Prague's Suburban Areas
Marčev, David ; Růžička, Miroslav (advisor) ; Petr, Petr (referee)
This doctoral thesis seeks to evaluate the accessibility of the centre of the capital city Prague by people commuting from the suburbs on a daily basis using different types of transport and the related energy performance of these differing types of vehicle. The goal of this academic work is to propose a methodology for measuring transport accessibility by utilising energy efficiency as benchmark. On the basis of energy requirements, obtained by measurements taken during journeys both by car and bus, a method of calculating the energy demands of the two modes of transport was derived. This proposed method of measurement was then applied to journeys from selected suburbs and the results were compared. A part of this work was to propose an "energy information label" whose goal is to inform residents about the energy requirements of the various types of transport when used for their daily commute from the suburbs to the city core. It was verified that the performance of the measured units of energy required are significantly affected by another factor. The main benefit of this work is the proposal of a methodology for the acquisition and measurement of the energy performance during the populations daily commute. Another benefit is the proposal to implement an "energy information label" which serves to inform the population about the energy performance when commuting to their place of work in the city core.
Strategy of the Innovations of Vehicle Inspection Emission Stations
Marušková, Helena ; Růžička, Miroslav (advisor) ; Tichá, Ivana (referee)
The doctoral thesis Strategy of the Innovations of Vehicle Inspection Emission Stations is engaged in marketing strategies and innovations of the vehicle inspection emission stations in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is dedicated to the references and describes marketing environment, SWOT analysis, marketing strategies, marketing mix and several "P". It also focuses on the innovation and innovation strategies, the different types of marketing research, the exhaust emissions of combustion engines, the homologation regulations and the periodic emission measurements at the vehicle inspections emission stations in the Czech Republic and in the world. The aim of this thesis is to describe and analyze the current situation and work up a strategy of the innovations of vehicle inspection emission stations. The practical part is devoted to analysis of the marketing environment (PEST analysis and the microenvironment), from which a SWOT analysis of vehicle inspection emission stations and further describes the individual components of the marketing mix SME. The chapter Marketing research SME is divided into quantitative and qualitative marketing research, which lists the various questions, charts and answers resulting from marketing research. Quantitative research is conducted through a questionnaire survey and qualitative marketing research obtains answers based on structured interviews. The paper concludes with several suggestions of the innovation, evaluation of research questions and a summary of the individual chapters, which shows that too stringent emission limits will not lead to their real reductions. Regular tests for SMEs are set up properly and does not need to be changed. Creating a central information system (one for both STK and SME) and the implementation of video surveillance - these changes are needed not only for technical inspections stations, but also emission inspection stations. Due to the increasing number and age of vehicles and especially the fact that the current emission tests of vehicles in no-load mode engines are not able to detect all faults, the new methodology of measure emissions is needed.
The optimisation of road maintenance in the town district

Extension of Centrifugal Compressor Operational Stability
Růžička, Miroslav ; Třetina, Karel (referee) ; Kmoch, Petr (referee) ; Klement, Josef (advisor)
Centrifugal compressors with high pressure ratio are widely used in small aircraft turbine engines and turbocharges. At high rotational speeds they have narrow stable operating region and commonly used impellers with back swept blades are not able to ensure requested stability. In order to achieve wider stable operating region, some other anti-surge measures can be used, such as an Internal Recirculation Channel (IRC) located in compressor impeller inlet. This thesis deals with an investigation of IRC influence on centrifugal compressor operational parameters. As a first, the various recirculation channel geometry was studied by using of CFD analysis on simplified computational models. Those geometry, which indicated best results in terms of mass flow and looses in channel were used for testing on a model test device. Subsequently the same geometry was tested on real centrifugal compressor in experimental turbine engine to verify influence of IRC on compressor performance map – pressure ratio and efficiency. Simultaneously the CFD analyses of IRC with a 3D model of compressor impeller were performed and results compared with those, gained from measurement on model and compressor. In addition the measurement of flow field downstream the recirculation channel outlet slot with using of 3-hole pressure probe was performed and compared with flow velocity profiles evaluated from numerical simulations.
