Immigration into the European Union from the Third World Countries

The thesis aimes to quantify the population of the sample of the European Union member states born in the Third World Countries. The interpretation based on those migration data unveils the main push and pull factors fostering migration between the analzyed regions. The following part discusses social, cultural and economical impacts of immigration into the European Union from the Third World Countries. The last part reviews the migration and asylum legislation framework of the European Union.
The European Parliament after the elections in 2009

The bachelor thesis describes the position of the European Parliament after the elections in 2009. The thesis compares the elections in 2009 with that one in 2004 in the light of the election campaign, process and results. Separately, it describes the election process to the elections to the European Parliament in the Czech Republic. The bachelor thesis is focused on development of the European Parliament from its beginnings up to the present time, its functions and competences. The thesis analyses the way to the direct elections in full details. It shows the political parties of the European Parliament, which contribute to formation of European awareness.
France: migration trends and policy

The aim of this work is to characterize migration trends and policies of France. France is a traditional destination for immigrants from all over the world, in the case of France, then we are talking mainly about its immigration policy. In the first chapter I have dealt with the basic characteristics of contemporary France and its position in Europe today. In the second chapter, I focused on France's current immigration trends and policies. First, I defined the concept of migration, and characterized by three major French immigration period, which laid the foundations for today's multicultural French society. I described the various categories of immigrants in terms of their countries of origin and distribution in France. Subsequently, I focused on French immigration policies and measures taken to regulate this area. I define the categories of legal immigrants and further specify the problem with illegal immigrants and their integration into French society. With the recent French Presidency of the EU Council, I shall continue its work to pay the immigration policy of France as one of the priorities of its EU Presidency. In the third chapter thesis I focused on analyzing the results of the French Presidency in the area of immigration with an emphasis on successfully adopted the French proposal for the European Pact on Immigration and Asylum and subsequent follow-up results of the Czech Presidency in the field of migration. In conclusion, I assess the benefits of European-wide immigration policy.
Position of immigrants in German labour market

Bachelor thesis is focused on position of the immigrants in German labour market. The first chapter defines basic terms related to migration. The point of this chapter is to show relation between historic events and their influence on migration. One part describes causes of migration and also its consequences on countries receiving or sending labour force. The second chapter is focused on migration policy of Germany and describes possibilities of entering and living in Germany and what are the rules for the EU members. Moreover this chapter provides detailed characteristic of migrants, their age, nationality, reason and place of stay. The aim of the third chapter is to describe the position migrants in German labour market according to their unemployment rate, wages and possibilities of employment in comparison with situation in France. Furthermore this chapter is focused on integration and naturalization of foreigners and position of so called second generation of migrants.
Economic Transition of the four Visegrag Countries

The thesis describes some of the economic characteristics of central planned economy, afterwards focuses on goals, strategies and content of transition processes and finally focuses on application of some of the transition steps in the first decade of economic transition process from central planned economy to the market economy in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. The last part summarizes and evaluates some identical and different elements of approaches to the transition process in described countries.
The role of the International Monetary Fund in world financial crisis

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to briefly describe an origin and a progress of the current financial crisis, then to analyse functions and the role of International Monetary Fund in financial crisis and not only from theoretical point of view but also in practical circumstances. At the end of the thesis are mentioned some opinions of the independent observers of this problem.
GCC: economic relations and perspectives of next integration

The target of the thesis is to describe the integrative process of six countries from the Gulf as a chain of reactions to former challenges, wishes and needs of these countries, with the insistence on analysis of actual economic situation and mutual relations. The first chapter pursues the economic and safety situation going along with the rise of GCC and introduction of cooperation areas and its results. The second chapter describes the economic situation after the formation of GCC and impacts of integrative process, but the main point is the detailed analysis of actual economic situation in the region. The last chapter deals with the topic of next expansion of GCC or next continuing of the integration and presents the possible future development of GCC.
The European Budget - Process of Creation and Future

This thesis gives a description of the system that regulates the flow of the European finances. Special attention is paid to UK Rebate. Member states' points of view to the European Union in reference to their Net Balances with the European Budget are also analyzed in detail. The resources of the Budget are explained in order to explore the Rebate and the Net Balances in more detail. Brief description of the Budget expenditures and eriorities is included. One chapter is devoted the budgetary procedure.
Financial instability in the USA in years 2007 - 2008: Implications for future economic development, regulation and financial sector supervision

The aim of my bachelor's work is to highlight the reasons and causes of the origin of mortgage crisis, its effects and to propose possible solutions. The first part of my work analyses the economic development of the USA since 2000 to 2008 as well as factors and subjects contributing to the current financial instability. Among them are ranked the "subprime lending", securitization process, rating agencies and off-balance sheet accounting. The second part is deeply concerning with American authorities for regulation and financial market supervision. Primarily are analyzed The U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission and their, in connection with financial crisis, taken measures. The final part of my papers is devoted to the future economic development of the USA and already taken measures for boosting the economy by the US Government. At the very last end of my work I suggest some solutions in the economic policy area.

The second chapter explains the american subprime mortgage crisis, its causes and consequences. The third chapter is dedicated to Great Britain, explains the term "credit crunch", describes the causes of the crisis and current situation. The fourth chapter is focused on the housing market in Great Britain and its state before and after the crisis.
