Primary school pupils' awareness of OSPOD work

This bachelor thesis called "Primary School Pupils' Awareness of Child Protection Department (OSPOD) Work" maps the level of knowledge of pupils of the second grade of the elementary school about the mission and activities of OSPOD. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains five chapters dealing with the definition of family, the important needs of the child, the development of the status of the child in the family, the legislative anchoring of child and family protection and the system providing social and legal protection for children in the Czech Republic. The last chapter is dedicated to the description of OSPOD activities, its mission and the way in which the rights of children and their parents are protected from the position of this body. In the empirical part, a survey of the pupils' basic knowledge about the work of OSPOD is carried out and evaluated. The aim is to find out, by means of a questionnaire survey, if these students are aware of OSPOD activities, whether they know what their mission is, who can turn to them, and where and on what matters they could turn to that authority themselves. This part is also supplemented by a proposal for an information leaflet on OSPOD activities for a given age group.
Covering the needs od people after living institutional care according to the theory Pesso Boyden psychomotor therapy

The bachelor work on "Covering the needs of people after leaving institutional care according to the theory Pesso Boyden psychomotor therapy" aims to determine whether the needs specified in this theory are fulfilled in people after leaving institutional care. Each one of the needs is evaluated individually by asking questions to certain target groups. The theoretical part deals with the theory of Pess and Boyden. It points out the way in which it came about and what it comes from. It deals with the basic concept of human needs and consequently with the concepts of needs according to this theory. Furthermore, it will focus on the target group of youth leaving institutional education. In the practical part, using a structured questionnaire, it reveals the extent and degree of fulfillment of individual human needs. The evaluation did not reveal any major drawbacks, but it did reveal several recommendations. In conclusion, he showed that this theory can be used to assess the fulfillment of individual needs and that none of the needs is completely satisfied and fulfilled. Comparison of subjective and physiologic perception of experience intensity during repeated stimulation

This diploma thesis deals with experiencing emotions and emotional habituation. The aim of the work was to compare changes in subjectively felt intensity of emotional experience and physiological responses during repeated affective stimulation. In the theoretical part were presented the concepts of affective experience and emotional habituation, their biological basis and methods of investigation. The empirical part is devoted to an experiment in which sets of positive and negative picture (IAPS database) and sets of videos in different order were repeatedly presented to group of 124 people. During the presentation were observed changes in subjective evaluation of stimuli and in physiological responses (skin conductance, skin temperature). The habituation process has been tested with regard to the order of stimuli. The results demonstrated that habituation process were present at a subjective level. Also habituation process occured for the physiological indicator, the skin temperature in the part of group that saw for the first stimulus set of positive videos. The habituation of skin conductance did not appear, on the contrary its values increase with a series of repetitions. The bachelor thesis on the Possibilities of Social Rehabilitation of the Salvation Army Clients at the Center of Social Services Lidická deals with people without home, people in crisis. The theoretical part focuses on description and problematic areas related to people without shelter. For the practical part of the thesis the data of the users of the social rehabilitation service were selected and studied. This part of the thesis deals specifically with the analysis of the Salvation Army users. People who used the Social Rehabilitation Service CSSL in 2014-2016 were selected for the analysis.

The utilization rate of fulfillment of mandatory proportion of employment of people with disabilities This thesis is aimed to find out whether companies in Prague prefer to fulfill the mandatory proportion of employment of people with disabilities by purchasing products and services or by payment to the state budget and whether there are sufficient options to make this decision. The theoretical part defines person with disability in accordance with the law on employment. It presents different ways of compliance and quantifies the amounts that companies are required to pay. It also deals with the description of social entrepreneurship in Czech Republic and the upcoming law on social entrepreneurship. It defines social economy, social entrepreneurship, social enterprise and work integration social enterprise according to RESSEA association and EMES International Research Network. The practical part is devoted to empirical research. It deals with the processing of data about all companies situated in Prague with more than 25 employees. Data contain information about the form and extent of fulfillment. Using this data we investigate what form of fulfilment companies used the most. Possibilities of OSPOD Frýdek-Místek in the work with drug addicted mothers

My bachelor's thesis "Posibilities of OSPOD (social and legal protection of Frydek-Mistek's municipality) within work with drug addicted mothers" finds out procedures in the work with this target group. The thesis is devided into two parts: theoretical and practical.The theoretical part contains three chapters which describe social and legal protection of children and drug addiction and the last chapter deals with OSPOD and drug addicted mothers. In the practical part there is an analysis of eight interviews with social workers of OSPOD Frydek-Mistek. The practical part is supplemented with two case reports.
Comparison of social policy in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic from the point of view of social security

The thesis deals with the issue of social security system in Czech Republic and Slovak Republic, their description, comparison, analysis and evaluation of both systems. It defines basic terms, describes history of the social security system in former federal state and compares particular factors which affects this system. The thesis characterizes in detail the components of the social security system - social insurance, social support and social assistance, what do they contain, which benefits are paid within the systems, what are the claim conditions of particular social benefits and which institutions administrate the particular systems. This thesis contains only theoretical part which I wrote using professional literature, legal regulations and other documents of both states.
Evalution of the neds of children within OSPOD, focusing on th syndrome CAN. Evaluation according to the methodology LUMOS used in Turnov

This bachelor thesis deals with assessing the needs of children within OSPOD focusing on children who have experienced the CAN syndrome - syndrome of abused and neglected child. The aim of this study was to connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience and show the methodology LUMOS. First, I pointed out the legal basic concerning this problem. Then I explained the concepts related to the topic and presented the needs of children. I defined the evaluation process. The information that I used for this bachelor work, were I taken from the methodology LUMOS - Practical guide to evaluating the needs of children. This publication is used at the Social Affairs Department of the Municipal Office Tutnov, where I had a placement for one month. I gathered all the information and case histories, which I used there. At the end of this work were used practical knowledge of the Social Affairs Department of the Municipality Tutnov. The present case report obtained in Turnov contain information from the theoretical part of the chapter assessing the needs of children.
