Amongst the most characteristic features design of the wheel belongs: the position of the hitch wheel center, which remints untwine cobweb.

Morphology study of ultra thin layers by XPS analysis of multiple peaks of a single element

This diploma thesis deals with methodology of thin film thickness determination using X-ray radiation of silver anode which provides radiation with energy of 2984,3 eV. This energy is twice as high as the standard aluminium radiation which allows a measurement of new photoelectron lines with higher bonding energy and it also provides thanks to the higher photoelectron energy greater information depth. In order to get the right results it was necessary to calibrate the spectrometer Kratos Axis Supra in the silver anode mode first and found out the form of the transmission function. The determination of the thickness of the thin layer was demonstrated by the comparation of the ratio of different photoelectron lines intensities with the theoretical model. For that purpose was specifically used the Si 1s and Si 2p peak bound in the substrate in the Si-Si bonding or in the thin oxid layer in the Si-O bonding. The results show that for thin SiO2/Si film thickness determination is the best to use the intensity ratio of only one photoelectron line. A silver anode however provides greater information depth.

Wellness pension

The subject of the diploma thesis is the processing of project documentation for the construction of wellness pension. This building is designed in a medium sloping terrain on the edge part of the Rajhrad city. The building has 3 floors and garage in the basement. Object is divided into 2 parts, the first part consists a restaurant and 2 floors for temporary accommodation in 14 rooms for 45 customers. The second part consists wellness for accommodated and also for other outside customers. The roof is designed single skin with vegetation area (extensive). The project includes a solution of paved areas and access to the underground garage, fencing, water connection, sewage connection, rainwater conection including a retention tank and overflow into the rainwater sewerage. The construction system of the building is based on reinforced concrete footings connected to foundation strips in the places of the cladding, follow up reinforced concrete columns. The ceiling structures, including hidden girders and stairs, are made of monolithic, reinforced concrete. Vertical load-bearing structures are designed from POROTHERM ceramic blocks. The vertical structures of the basement are designed from lost formwork. The building's ventilation system is divided into four parts, the first part is for wellness, the second part is for restaurant and pension, third part is for kitchen, last part is for fire protected escape route.

Evalution of a Company's Financial Situation in Visual Basic and Proposals for its Improvement

This bachelor thesis focuses on the financial analysis of the construction company during the period 2006 – 2010. Current management of the company has not used such techniques for business management so far. Therefore this thesis would be the first of its kind in company. The aim of this work is to evaluate the financial situation of the company using different financial indexes. Financial statements from the chosen period are used for evaluation. The financial indexes are calculated and consequently, the economical aspect is assessed using author´s algorithms in Visual Basic environment. Based on the results observed, specific measures and advices are proposed to eliminate the imperfections.

Detached house with business premises

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the processing of project documentation for the construction of a family house with an establishment. This building is designed in a slightly sloping terrain on the edge part of the village Holasice, part of Brno-countryside. The family house has a partial basement and two floors. Establishment is designed as a single-storey building with own access from the road and will be used for design activities. The building is based on plain concrete strip. Vertical structures are designed from ceramic blocks. Vertical stuctures of the basement will be also protected by a layer of permanent blocks. The roof of the family house is designed as a gable, above the garage is a flat roof with a vegetation area. Ceiling structures are made of monolithic, reinforced concrete.

SiO2 etching by Si deposition

This bachelor thesis deals with one of the most interesting reactions taking place in the solid phase in UHV conditions and that is decomposition of SiO2 according to the equation Si + SiO2 = 2SiO. It was used the previously untested procedure - providing Si atoms not from substrate, but by direct deposition on the surface of the oxide. As a source of silicon atoms was used effusion cell. Deposition of silicon on SiO2 substrate was used at room temperature and at elevated temperature to clarify the principle of this reaction. The activation energy and temperature dependence of the reaction rate was determined. It was also verified the possibility of etching SiO2 by Si deposition in UHV conditions. The prepared samples were examined by x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy.

Workflow Design for a Building Company

The thesis deals with workflow design and its implementation in a construction company. The current state of document management is becoming obsolete and insufficient. Thus the company´s board has approved the realization of workflow system. The aim of this thesis is therefore analysis of company´s related processes and design of a workflow model. In addition, the new model is required to be linked with present financial and managerial accounting systems and allow for future adjustments and modifications. Final output of this thesis consists of workflow process maps, risk assessment, budget and time plan of realization.

Computer Network Design

The thesis deals with the network infrastructure of a small construction company. The current state of the computer network is unsatisfactory and therefore the company decided for realization of the brand new network wiring system in addition to the reconstruction of the company´s residence. Aim of this thesis is to review the current conditions of the computer network and to design new, optimized model in order to assure effective and flawless usage of the company´s information technology resources. The final output of this thesis is the construction plan of company´s residence with network wiring drawn in. This plan will cope with appropriate regulations and will include the list of material used, table of cables and suggested layout of the 19” rack.
